I don’t need to repair/rewind my stator but I want to remove it to complete painting the alternator housing. I can find instructions for any and everything except how to safely remove the stator. Anyone??
@@RepairRestore99 with some careful tapping, using a narrow flat end punch, a 12 oz plastic dead blow hammer and a lot of patience I was able to remove the stator. I would never use anything but electrical contact cleaner on an alternator or any other device that involves windings. Anything that will remove paint will damage the varnish on the windings.

Not clear. where is neutral coil wire
Thare is no neutral wire... It’s dc alternator... It has negative & positive wire.. Even negative & positive output same wire by rectifier (diode)

You must use paint cleaner. But applied carefully
