Just add a little plumbers thread tape, that white roll of stretchy stuff you can use on your garden hose faucet if it’s leaking at the connection, and that windshield wiper will be good as gold.

The window cleaner, without the sprayer, was available at the dollar tree. I use mine all the time. Works great on windows and anything that I can’t reach. 😆

Yeah not so much with my kitchen but other areas like bathrooms and offices. It's so handy. I used to clean houses and I would throw some extras in the bottom so next time it was ready.

If you have a problem with leaks 1 get the Costco brand flex bags, they are great and 2 just leave 4/5 bags in the bottom. If you do have a leak you only lose a few bags and still get the benefit 😊

I have the old version of the windshield cleaner and it doesn’t have the sprayer function but I love it. I guess it’s good for cleaning the windshield, BUT…… I use it to wipe the windshield when it’s foggy and I don’t have time to wait for the defrost to unfog it. Game changer for those of us that are always running late lol!!!

Me and my husband cleaned doctors offices and we just left clean bags in the bottom of can under bag being used so that we were ready with a new bag every time we took out the trash.
I literally put the roll of trash bags in the bottom of my trash can, and pull up a new one without any holder. It doesn't eat up too much space actually, and I didn't spend any money on a useless bag holder. Always fun ViV!!

@@melissascott3591 Ditto. On a smaller trash can, I just remove five or ten, separated, and put those in the bottom of the trash can. Saves time and you lose no trashcan space.
This was fun, as always. I had the same thought about the space the trash bag thing takes up. I need that space for trash!! Also, I could just drop my BOX of trash bags in there. They are overlapped rather than perforated. They just pull out bringing the next bag up to be ready….all for free! 😃👍🏻 Thanks for the reviews!

I bought one of those windshield cleaners for $5 in 2000. It didn't come with the spray feature. I still use mine for the windshield!

Awesome! 😄I bought one like that years ago. It didn't have the sprayer built in, but had a little spray bottle. Even if you don't use the sprayer these things Are Great for reaching the hard to reach corners of your windshield! The micro fabric is Fantastic for cleaning windows! You can use vinegar water or even just plain water and you will love how it cleans car windows! Awesome!

Jysk in Canada has a similar windshield cleaner thing without the spray for about $1.50. It works great in the car and I just spray window cleaner from the bottle. It works great for short arms on long dashboards.
For the fact that the little window washer only holds 2 ounces, you already know it’s TSA Approved because it’s under 3 ounces so you can take it in your carry on, because you know you don’t have enough in there already, and you can use it to wash the touch screen on the back of the seat 💺 in front of you before you touch it! Haha! 😂

I bought my windshield wiper cleaner at Ross for $6 same exact thing but mine came with a small spray bottle for the water I tried windex and it left streaks all over my windshield the water gives it a smooth finish I love it

I bought a cheap DG brand retractable swiffer, microfiber cloths and a bottle of windex. I keep them in my truck and do the windshield with that. I am short and can barely reach the dash so the inside if my windshield used to be a mess. No more.
We leave a roll of trash bags in the bottom of our trash can in the kitchen. Take the entire roll out of the box first, though. No need for a container to put it in. That trash bag "dispenser" is not needed at all. Love ya Viv! ❤

I've got the safety can opener I think they have it at Ollie's for $10 and I love it it's also great because you can put the lid back on the can and store the remainder in the fridge if you need to very simple to use and doesn't wear out your hands

We don’t have Walmart or Dollar Tree where I live - so those videos are not particularly interesting to me - but these vintage Vivian tries videos make me smile ❤
A few years ago my mom sliced her finger pretty badly on a sharp can requiring several stitches. Everyone got safety can openers for Christmas and I won’t go back to the other style. My only complaint has been that it’s hard to find an electric opener that cuts the side instead of the top. I’ll normally pinch my pennies pretty hard, but I’d pay $20 for that can opener!

I've had the windshield cleaner, without the sprayer, for yrs. Who knows where the hell it went. So I bought 2 on TEMU for maybe $1.50 each. We all know what a pain it is to get the windshield all cleaned

I gave up on electric can openers a few years back. They always seem to get wonky after a while and I end up spending more time trying to get them to revolve all the way around the can than it would take to use a manual opener. The bonus was freed up counter space.
Instead of utilizing the Trash Tidy product, I simply throw a few or several empty bags at the bottom of the trash can then apply the liner. Great video! AS SEEN ON V.T.!
Can openers always leave one sharp surface--either the lid or the can top. You could have popped the balloon with the can.
Clean water and a microfiber cloth is enough to clean windows. Windex streaks like no other. It's the microfiber that cleans enough and it's delicate enough that you can't even wash it with fabric softener. Water is *all it needs* honestly! We clean windows with nothing else but water and microfiber. No streaks. E v e r!
Cutting the cans on the side instead of the top does leave the removed lid edge smooth, but leaves the can edge sharp.
Im so happy to see some as seen on TV products again! These are my favorite!
We just throw new trash bags at the bottom, underneath the trash bag being used. Then when you go to take out the trash, you can just grab a new bag. Love your videos!

I have the Windshield Cleaner (without the sprayer)! It's the BEST!! I think mine is called "WONDERSHIELD" & it doesn't fold. I use only water in a spray bottle as per the instructions. Been using it for a decade on my car but ordered new 6 pk of "bonnets" on Amazon after the elastic broke on originals. Still great!

@@marciwhitman3513 You're wrong, Marci. You don't OWN one so you're not in the best position to argue the point. (Maybe you don't own a car?) The slant on some windshields are nearly impossible to access. Also, consider there are arthritic people, elderly people, people with short arms and little people who drive cars with dirty windshields that need cleaning! All would benefit from the extra reach of the simplest version of this helpful gadget. And then there are just people like me who appreciate a great gadget that really works and has made my life easier for over a decade.

That can opener thingy reminds me of the old house I lived in growing up. We had one of those built into a kitchen cabinet (obviously better quality than ASOTV product) Wish houses still came with them because to be honest, I hate using can openers. Lol
For the windshield wizard you can also add 2 parts rubbing alcohol and one part water as a de-icer for places in the world where it's very cold in the morning.

I have that window cleaner BUT mine came with a bottle that u fill with water to mist your windshield, and the wand doesn't get filled. Mine works great! Instead of blue micro cloth, mine is 💚 green!

The trash bag thingy...I imagine it is difficult to pick the unit up from a surface or the bottom of a trash can with out those wings/handles on the side. But, yeah, just keep the bag at the bottom of your trash can. Boom

I’ve had the original windshield cleaner thing for YEARS love it. Mine has separate spray bottle too and works great with just water. Mine said to spray the micro cloth not the window.

A fun note about the safety can opener. They don't work by cutting. They actually undo the seam between the can and the can lead.
And it's not a new idea. This kind of can opener has been around for over 30 years.
I have on the side of my fridge a magnetic storage shelf. It includes 2 holders for paper towels. (As well ad storage for plenty of other things) I use one for paper towels, one for a roll of garbage bags. Right under neath the storage thingy? The garbage can.

it would be interesting if the lid from the can sat back neatly on the can, this would make an excellent hiding spot for money etc. Just hide among other cans in the pantry.
They sell these blue wiper thingys at Canadian Tire here in Canada. I think 10-15 $ which is about five USD lol. Perfect for fogging windows in fall or winter here or N/E States
I think the gimmick of the trash bag dispenser is that it is held in place by the tape inside the garbage can. I used to keep my trash bags in the bottom of my trash can but stopped because the whole roll was thrown away with the trash when the can was emptied. I realize that most people lift the bag out of the can and put it in the outside dumpster but I am really short so I generally have to take the can with me tie the bag in the can and lift the entire can up over my head and dump the tied bag into the dumpster from the can... otherwise I have to lift the bag over my head and if it has a little hole in it or is leaking, it gets all over me. YUCK! With this device, I wouldn't have thrown away so many rolls of trash bags.
My handheld Pampered Chef can opener cuts on the side, can replace the lid and still works like it's brand new after about 20 yrs.
The trash bag dispenser would work with the verticle bags...regular trash bags open at the top, not at the side
Vivian. Looking at the instructions on the trash bag dispenser, you are supposed the leave the bags attached so when you put the trash out, you pull the new bag up with it and just tear and fold the new bag down.
I have that style of can opener. It's pretty decent once you have the aha moment to get it to work correctly.

Bought a different brand at Biglots but also saw at Hamricks for $10. This brand gave like a travel size spray refill bottle instead of being made into the handle. And like yours it came with two microfiber covers and was advertised for leaving in the car. I've had it for about a year and say it was worth it.
That would be perfect if it had the bend handle like the one she showed so it doesn't take up a lot of space. I love concept though!
That is for the bags they supplied with it. Trash bags don't actually come that way anymore. At least not the ones I buy. But I agree about taking space in the trash can

Hey Vivian, there's another one of those window mops on Amazon. They show it also on you tube shorts. It looks like a good one. They show it cleaning the cabinets and the ceiling in a kitchen.
As to the trash bag dispenser, get the bags that are not connected, but are separate.
I have the window cleaner in my car. I just spray some tap water and vinegar that I keep in a travel spray bottle and it wipes clean in like two minutes or less. It’s great for a quick clean up.

That window cleaner is similar to the 10 dollar I have. No water reservoir on mine. I do keep mine in the back of the car. It works great.
