    You guys are truly the best and really enjoy your take on the Canes. As a lifelong Canes fan since the early 80’s I agree with most of your points. We really need to get Pickett on board. I think the same thing about VT they are a good team

      Thanks Ryan. We aren’t always fan favorites. So we appreciate the fans we do have.

    If Miami is a true Top 8 caliber team, then they will make the adjustments, identify more talent for depth, and reallocate snaps based on merit. Walking away with wins the last two weeks was incredible - it means we’re making strides as a program. Last year was the season of losing close games, now that’s flipped. The theme for the rest of the season should be “control every game from beginning to end (even if you don’t hang 50” and “play assignment defense that bends from 25-to-25, but doesn’t give up big plays.” If we do this, we get through the ACC slate and have an entertaining game vs Clemson for the CG (and in the playoffs either way).

      I feel more confident than I have in 22 years. I'm excited to see where we land this year.

    Great show guys very informative, but I have a question how in the world the Florida State beat Cal? the only thing I can think about is the travel all those miles nothing else.

    Cam Ward is not the one letting the other teams score multiple touch downs on them. The defense has killed this team on blown plays leading to TDs. The back seven are killing the team

      While this is essentially true....Cam has been the one that has thrown multiple interceptions in the last 2 games that have led to other teams scoring multiple touchdowns...either by the way of a pick-six or an interception return that puts the opposing offense on a short field making it difficult for the defense to overcome....that said, he has also been the one to produce the necessary touchdowns to overcome the ones that the defense has allowed and the ones that he attributed to by being careless or missing on throws. The defense absolutely needs to limit the big plays and play soundly but Cam also needs to limit the turnovers

      Defense is atrocious especially the backfield

      @@alanrobinson9021 No denying that. Secondary has blown way too many plays. Need to have line rush 4 and linebackers and dbs keep everything in front of them

    Defense needs to get out of its own way and just limit the big plays because this is a championship caliber offense

    To your point Manny, Miami lacks elite talent at receiver. We don’t have a Jeremiah Smith or an Andre Johnson.

      This is why it was such a big deal to miss on him. Some thing this season if we miss on Pickett. Next year with Cooper. You land the top guy in south Florida every year and in a 3-4 year stretch you have 1st round draft picks at nearly every skill position. We’re in our way but we really have to turn that around before we reach the level we want to reach

    • @trentlima6224
      @trentlima6224 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Imagine if this team was exactly the way it is except we added the top guy in south Florida in a 4 cycle span. Damon Wilson DE (Venice), Jeremiah Smith WR (Dade), DJ Pickett DB (Tampa), Dia Bell QB or Derrek Cooper RB (Broward). We’d have game changers at so many positions

    Sam Brown has obviously underperformed, however, because he will put up some impressive numbers in the combine he will be an NFL WR.

    Never want to go back to the Berkeley stadium. No beer, no water, lame atmosphere.

      What are you talking about? They had beer and water in several places. It wasn't Hard Rock or any other pro venue, but was pretty typical of an on-campus stadium.
