      you can read the temperature. so this outputs the reading value. it is free for you to use it whichever way you are pleased with.

    Thank you very much for a great video. I'm just doing this very similar for a fan air control to regulate temperature on my BBQ. your code is much prettier than mine. Lol
    Im using a 16x2 screen for output which works fine. Now I'd love to like to add in a rotary encoder to be able to adjust the setting temperature without having to upload a sketch. I'm struggling with that part. Would you be able to point me in the right direction for direction on that?

    I followed your tutorial for max6675 and lcd display, thanks for the tutorial. I am going to try this tutorial also just have some doubts please do clarify these. First is can we use a 5v relay (no module). Secondly the fan used is ac or 12V dc fan can also be used. If possible please give the link for the fan.

      Yes you can use relay if you drive it properly as shown in this video th-cam.com/video/N-fFk51Eb8s/w-d-xo.html for the fan, there are 1000s of options. Search on eBay or Amazon you will find something that will work for you

    explained in a very simple and detailed way. I am trying to map it on the Blynk. Apart from Blynk library, I added command in void setup section: Blynk.virtualWrite(V5, temperature); but no temperature value shows up in Blynk app. Am I putting some wrong parameter in virtualWrite command?

      relay is just a switch as I shown (if not watched, then watch again) and it will turn ON and OFF loads. Just respect the rating of current of the relay, then it will work for anything.

      it is up to you. inside setup() just add delay(5*60*1000); that is 5 minuets.
