I would definitely say you should get an l shaped desk. I have a l shaped desk for school and it’s really nice because it has a lot of room and I have a lot of supplies for school so I can organize it with all the space so I would recommend getting the desk!

On the roof top you should put an outdoor rug with a couch & coffee table vibe. Then put turf around the corner on the opposite side of the AC machine !!! It would hide Chloe’s area but also make it secluded for herself.
I love your townhouse! I love the black accents. I think a “L” shaped desk would be so unique if you choose that! Can’t wait for more vlogs on moving in and decorating your new place!❤
I'm so happy for you!!! This is one of the prettiest townhomes I've ever seen! I love everything about it and def screams Big Girl Energy! As a 34 yo I totally get how important it is to have your own space. Def get, the privacy fence, the ring doorbell for security and maybe a camera on the rooftop as well so everything is all linked. In your office an L shaped desk in the middle with maybe a 2 seat sofa so Taryn has a comfy place for the podcast as well. You have beautiful taste on your own so I am certainly looking forward to all the decorate and organize with me videos!! Notifications are definitely on! Congratulations beautiful!!!

Only advice I would give as a 'livealoner' declutter your space OFTEN so when it does come time to buy your own place you will only move with items that spark joy ⭐

If you want to make it more homey, I recommend some warmer toned woods for a table or stool or etc. also make sure to do pops of warmer tone colors in the decor!

Also will say definitely go with an L shap desk for your office, I got one for my office and I use one side for my personal desktop and the other for my work set up and I find its the best set up I've had to date!

For your office you should do 2 straight desks. One you keep you desk top on, that one would be facing the window, and the other in front of that so you would be facing the door. You’d keep that one empty so you could put your laptop on it or if Taryn is there she has a place to put her stuff.
