If she's not real, then all you're doing by saying her name in a mirror is wasting a few minutes of your life while making a fool of yourself. If she *is* real, then you just created your own personal hell, even if she doesn't necessarily kill you (which i have never heard a single case of happening to anyone). Or you could end up summoning something entirely different that could possibly be worse than Mary.

I love season one and how the viewers often have all the same questions and the show unravels all the answers in such a good way. I was never freaky about the Bloody Mary game until I watched this episode.
I was more scared of this episode than the previous ones. Mainly because unlike in eps1-4 where the ghosts/creatures are restricted to a certain place, B.M. follows her victims until she can kill them. Also, I know her from childhood scary stories and that just makes her more "real" than the others.

It blows my mind that some people actually watch a single episode once a week If I find a show I like, I'm literally gone from real life for however long it takes me to binge it (and then usually a bit longer to brain rot about it some more and rewatch the best moments a couple hundred times) Was that way when I watched this show in school a decade ago, is still like this today when I've come back to it (it's been two months and I need help) The scariest episode in my book. Still gives me the creeps Those types of scary games weren't common where I'm from, I don't think, or at least my friends were all normal people who didn't care for that stuff And I don't believe in all of that necessarily, but definitely prefer to be on the safer side. Why f/ck around and find out when you can just. Not Dean summarizes this outlook really well in 1x10 Asylum: "You have seen scary movies, right? Next time, pay attention. If someone says a place is haunted - don't go in" I may be an agnostic, but that doesn't mean that I'll be handing over my face to Freddie Krueger who may or may not exist, no sir
When I watched this episode for the first time I was in my room at night time and I have a mirror in my room. (I know, what a lovely time to) I was honestly so scared to even look at the mirror while watching the episode. I'm better now after having seen this one multiple times but I was scared to watch this one the first few times of seeing it.

This episode is a really good look into what Sam is going through, poor thing! And I was blown away by that reveal the first time I watched it! 🤯🤯 Yes, Dean and Sam's relationship is truly beautiful, and they're awesome together. It is nice to see just how much Dean loves his little brother. And yeah, it will forever be "Sammy." 😄The next episode is one of my favorites of the season, (but I have quite a few faves!) can't wait to watch it with you. I'm loving your reactions.

when i was younger me nana and papa made me try the bloody mary thing and laughed it off when nothing happened. a few minutes later my nana want into the bathroom and creamed so papa and i came bursting in like heros and there was read all over and red wrighting on the mirror.. i licked it.. it was ketchup.
