You should try hunter strand with Sixth Coyote and the fragments that refunds Grenade energy with all damage and the one that refunds class ability when killing suspended targets. Love it so much with the shackle grenade.
You can add grenade armor mod that gives you Grenade energy when its fully spent. This way by grappling with your second grapple charge to your Anchor that you placed with first charge of grapple multiple times it fully replenishes first charge again and you can do that infinitely. Never ever touching the ground again.
SirD you gotta make a build focusing around having Cyrtarachne’s but using your suspend ability to fly in, dive bomb people in a group, and just shotgun them. Do what you were doing but use the fragments that increase suspend duration honestly it’s insanely fun
Btw, the tangles (the green balls that you make when someone dies to certain strand abilities) also function as grapple points the same way. You can pick them up and throw them and grapple them mid-flight to tag along for the ride and get some crazy momentum going.
Warlock does this as well. It’s not just a hunter fragment. And 2 grenades is useless when u only have those 2 up for 1 round. After I pop them both you’re basically wasting an aspect.

id would say warlocks with necrotic grip + strand melee + suspension grenades/weavers trance works very well on pve. Throw a gun like osteo striga with the rights armor mods and fragments and that is the best pve strand build

if you use the right click in your super you turn into a helicopter and get something like another jump and anyone in the radius of the helicoptering gets hit and DIES and it hits through walls in PvE havent tested PvP but if you havent figured that out alr thats what it does edit: the radius of the right click is really quite big as well
I like the way they balanced woven mail and this exotic. Effectively, this exotic protects you DURING the grapple. But when you land, you're moving slow enough for people to actually land headshots again, so it stops protecting you as much - if at all.
When doing this run 3 grenade kickstart and when you grapple to the same point over and over you get your grenade back in about 4-5 of the re-grapples.
a strange guy in the crucible day 1 taught me that the 6th coyote (the exotic that gives you 2 dodges) is bananas with strand. Given that it is now melded and become 1 with my flesh I must agree.
sirmemetrious, i heavily recommend the usage of sixth coyote with double 100s for discipline and mobility, laucnh yourself towards the enemy using the grapple and use the slam to immobilize them
The hunter super is stupid fun with the infinite grapple and dives. Being able to chain straight into a melee from a grapple really makes you feel like a reverse scorpion.
Strand is that subclass where either you're the coolest kid on the block or you're the most cringe in class. Luckily SirD is both and I love him for it.
If strand ever gets another super down the road I want a reverse grapple called tether tractor so that hunters can yoink targets towards them like Scorpion from MK, think of the void hunters deadfall super but if you could chase enemies with it like an arc staff.
I was planning on going back to Destiny and have the good ol fun in the Crucible with my Hawkmoon but thankfully Lightfall reminded me the game i used to love has long since perished…

Running around as Spider-Man has been some of the most fun I’ve had in ages, especially since scavs let you have sniper ammo again.
