The super boost spacing is nice, it feels stiffer compared to normal boost spacing. Is it worth it? I'm not convinced yet.

Surprised you went as short as a 35mm stem when you said you're already sizing down to a large for more playfulness. My large Salsa Pony Rustler has a 70mm stem. Wouldn't mind dropping that to 50-55mm myself..

I was originally planning on putting a 50mm stem on, but because of covid and availability I could only get my hands on the 35mm.

Hey, first and foremost, that build is nice!!!! Im also building a Cassidy but I'm a newbie and had a question for you. Did you use a spacer on either side of the bottom bracket???? I need all the help I can get. Again, awesome build and video!!!!👍🚵

Thanks man! I ending up putting the bigger spacer on the drive side and a wave washer on the non drive side and then adjusted the preload.

According to the recommendations by salsa, it's a superboost crank and that's all you need. As far as chain line it feels normal.

Using the sram crank and the shimano deore has worked great so far!
