    Welcome Singapore. Loved your video. Thanks for your video about singapore. As a local I am proud. You guys know well about Singapore and the culture here. I hope you guys would have visited our local hawker centres to enjoy our varieties of cheap food. Hope to see you guys back here again soon.

      Thank you so much for your comment! 🥰 Glad you enjoyed it and we did Singapore justice! We actually didn’t try one of the Hawker Centers but thanks for the tip! We will definitely check it out next time we visit! Old Chang Kee curry puffs were very good… we may or may not have had 1 a day… sometimes 2 😆

      @samandchristinetravel yall didn't go to the hawkers!? That's almost criminal! 😂 No wonder you thought it was expensive eating out at restaurants. For context a (prob delicious) meal with a drink at a hawker would set you back 4 pounds.

    You guys need to come to Singapore for christmas and New Year. On new years eve, at the barge, the fireworks starts at 10.30 pm and it goes on until 12 am. The best on the world. It is so beautiful. You gonna love Singapore. Singapore is the best country in the world.

    Please note there is a surcharge if a taxi pick you from changi, gardens by the bay, MBS, expo etc.
    But if you using grab or gojek, there is no surcharge for the above pickup

    TADA is another option for getting car, typical Singaporean will open 3 apps to compare price, going to 1 destination can expect $3-5 difference. (Shocking n I know right)

    • @samandchristinetravel
      @samandchristinetravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s good to have so many options! And I’m sure they all do pretty well and are all busy too 🚖

    $16 a pint! How did you get through the peas without being $hitfaced?

    • @samandchristinetravel

      I know and it turns out it wasn’t even a pint it was a can! They were surprisingly good but maybe it was because it was the prelude to the real party! 🏎️

    Grab is cheaper during off peak hour.
    During peak and if grab or gojerk price surged, use taxi meter is better.

    I would only go to Singapore for 2 reasons. 1 would be Universal Studios. I am she’ll shocked that the TK $$ are 50%% cheaper then the USA. Excellent all around

    • @samandchristinetravel
      @samandchristinetravel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are headed to Universal studios next 😁 Not sure what you meant by “TK $$” sorry 🤣 Thanks for watching 🤗

    • @drewcorry5056
      @drewcorry5056 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      TK is for ticket. I guess you have never flown in the USA if TK confused you. $$ that means price.

    • @samandchristinetravel
      @samandchristinetravel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@drewcorry5056 ah makes sense. Both been to the States and Singapore was on par with prices based on we did but Universal was definitely cheaper than the prices in the parks, especially Florida! 🤣

    Ugh. No. Garden by the bay is not nature. Go to pulau ubin, Henderson wave, sungeibuloh, bukit timah and coney island.

      If u want more manmade stuff go to botanic garden and japanese garden.
      Another off shore trips are those to kelongs and southern islands, st john/kusu island. Nthg much to see but nature. And beware of monkeys(and ants if u wanna picnic. Also fk those smokers littering their cigarette stubs.) Dont bring plastic bags, monkeys will attempt to snatch. And bring sunscreen/umbrella.
