As someone who owns a mitsubishi triton mq i would really love to know the full specs and what was used to build these tritons. Suspension lift size body lift size wheel and tyre size. Ect.. they look tough and wouldnt mind redoing my triton when the warranty expires.

In August 2017, i think Triton is the cheapest truck which have more than 400Nm torque with lower than 2.5L cylinder... Correct me if im wrong thanks..

i own a new triton, spent my hard earned on offroad wheels, tires, bullbar, winch and duel batteries. went offroad and its pathetic. In low range up hill on mud it wheel spun for 3 seconds then cuts all power to engine because of all the computer stuff (traction control was off). My old hilux was great offroad but the triton is nicer on road. I was going to get a lift kit but not wasting my money on any more offroad gear. wait till warranty is out then buy a real 4x4 that can actually keep the power on when i push the pedal down regardless if my wheels are spinning or not.
Johnny D Hello johnny. Are you using automatic transmission? I have heard the same problem like yours. Before you go for tough terrain, you should turn off the traction control bcause traction control is used for high speed to avoid your car from drifting and slipping. After you turn off the traction control, you will not have any problem to went offroad after this.
Probably should invest in some lockers . Any 4x4 with open diffs will do that
After turning off TC you need to switch over to paddle shift mode which overrides all power cuts etc
honestly i see nothing extraordinary about this car. what catches everyone's eyes is that it has all the capabilities that a 4x4 shall have. nothing special. in my opinion ford ranger is still the top cream of 4x4 market so far. just my two cents.

Roland to be honestly Triton 2.4 mivec is more better then ranger 3.2 XLT .. because Triton just use a 2.4 L that has 181 HP and ranger use a 3.2 L that has 198 HP and not fuel economy .. ranger need a biggest engine to get that horsepower and it's heavier then the Triton ... ;) ask i know Triton mivec top speed is 201 KM ...
