Well it's been 8 months since my last Deftones video and I think it's about time to make another one, lol. I'm really sorry that it took so long to upload a new video. I don't want to make excuses but I don't have as much free time like I did a couple of years ago due to my job, family, messing around here and there.
Anyways, I wanted to try a Deftones song that has a faster tempo than my previous videos. I feel that my editing skills have improved deeply since March and I feel that I can make a good Knife Party video.
All live footage except the one featuring Rodleen Getsic were used with Permission. I truly appreciate everyone who allowed me to use their amazing live footage of Knife Party and I hope everyone will see the original video listed below.

My fiance Andrew loved deftones... Knifeparty was one of his passwords, I recently realized it was a deftones song... He passed away 2017 at 28 years old. I have a video of us posted onto my channel if anybody would like to see... He was a real deftones fan he tried showing me so much of their music... I wish I gave it more of a chance than I did when he was still alive... I never listened to the lyrics to the songs until he passed... I love you Andrew.. R.I.P

The people that don't understand the screaming woman part don't understand true internalized anger, rage, frustration, depression. A place so dark and lonely that only the worst of demons lurked there, screaming the most unhuman screams, and then you realize it is you that is screaming. Deftones was a fucking brilliant act back in these days... they touched on things most of us only thought about in our darkest corners. They brought it out for you to see, hear, experience. Fuck yeah.

It's strange, they never really seem to get even slightly worse, even their less popular albums are still pretty good :)
Gotta be one of the most consistent bands out there, 1997-2013 is a long run of not having dropped a single bad or even mediocre album.

I disagree. And simply not true. I not really liked everything that came after White Pony. Its not I totally dislike the albums that came but Around the Fur and White Pony were SO MUCH BETTER to me that I can not get myself to listen to anything else. Adrenaline was OK but you hear its a early Band that not quite found its style yet. I have this with other Bands as well where I with they would do albums that are EXACTLY like my favs from them again. None of the tracks on there come even close to my favs that of course include Knife Party. They seem to want to cache in on the "sexyness" of their Songs to much, not aggressive enough for me, to popy, ... overall just their style seemed to switch to be slightly softer and just never heard any real banger from them after White Pony. The Last.FM stats also reflect exactly my taste so I am not unique. So they in fact did get worse else people would listen to their newer albums more. Nothing unique, Bands often never reach their peak again, strangely because scientifically they should learn and improve upon what they got but its more humanity and creativity then cold hard science. There are better and almost true examples of Bands who constantly had peak quality music over a long time.

Deftones have literally grown up with me. Adrenaline to Koi No Yokan, they have never let me down. They have evolved and grown just like myself and that's pretty awesome :)

There’s been times where friends will play me Deftones songs and I’ll just hear Hum in the tone- like the song Minerva reminds me a lot of Boy With Stick, and there’s a couple of other direct comparisons. But yes I think Hum were really the flagship band for a lot of the heavy/ shoegaze stuff

This song 🎵 is so well done. Just ¹ little example of how good "white pony" is. The sound of White Pony in its entirety is so unique and recognizable. every track is a masterpiece.
It is good, but I wouldn’t call it “unique.” Deftones drew heavy inspiration from Hum and this album in particular was very inspired by Hum’s “You’d Prefer an Astronaut.” Right down to the cover. You should check it out.

Suddenly, im 19 years old again. Full of emotion and rage although somehow in between. I've watched these guys grow from around the fur, all the way to ohms. Im glad they're apart of my lifes history. Even my 10 year old son loves deftones.

I love this song, i love the girl parts that full blown scream gives the song an entirely different feel to it to me this song switches from a sad undertone to alot of energy and then there are a few beautiful parts as well, this is by far one of the Deftones songs that i listen to the most consistently.

Saw Deftones here in Corpus Christi on September 23rd 2016 and during this song Chino came down from the stage and went all alongside the barrier and hugging and shaking hands with all of us in the front row and when he got to me I got to hug him and almost kiss him on the cheek and it is recorded it's on video! fuck the production on deftone songs are always so good, the guitar is perfectly high enough while the bass is perfectly low enough to blend in amazingly all while the drums have a well balanced mix of both highs and lows.
