My father now has Alzheimer’s but I’ll never forget the day he finished work early on a Friday and took me down the river with some bread in a jam jar. Crazy thing is my dad unwittingly made me become an angler that day despite him not liking fishing himself lol. My point is I think it’s so nice to bring the lad along as he will never forget that day
Just a pity we didn't get more on the camera, it was a great day, the beat had 49 that week, I had 15 for three days, you don't get spells like that very often these days.
