One of the biggest openings I’ve seen on your channel. Really enjoyed all of these eras. I’ve gotta say that the era that started it all was my favorite. As someone who was around when Pokémon cards first came out in the US, this was the most nostalgic for me.

My favorite year of pokemon was either 98 or 99. This was an insane opening. So many amazing cards and old school mech, some I remember having or when it was released. TJ your collection is phenomenal.

My favorite set was gym heroes, I remember when I was in elementary and my teacher would give gifts for being good in class and I remember collecting so many of those gym hero cards. That Charmander episode was sad AF😢. The poor Charmander, crying out in the rain waiting for an owner that abandoned him. Doing everything he could to not let the fire on his tail go out. I still remember thinking as a kid I would've given a serious beat down to that trainer. It wouldn't have been a pokemon battle

I started collecting with Hidden Fates, so I always still say that’s my favorite era 😊 thanks Rev you are the thing I can know will be there for me every day.
My favorite year of cards was definitely during X and y. if I was to point to any specific year it would probably be 2015 because it had BREAKthrough. As a kid I thought that break cards were the top half of a square card. I used to beg my mom at target to get a pack of cards. I’m so disappointed in my younger self because I threw all my cards in a bin because I used to just trade and not collect them. If I had saved them All my collection would have been worth thousands if not ten thousand. Sorry for the rant but Pokémon cards are so so so nostalgic for me
