Wowz why would the shirokai kit be limited? Seems so unfair, I'd love to buy one.
They did not sell very well. Over a few years they only sold like 7. So they announced that it would only be a 1 of 10 kit. We jumped on it. At that time. Now we have like 10 people saying they want to buy the kit because it has gotten more clout over the past 6 months than it has over the past few years. It's such a cool kit. Maybe they will make a v2 down the road 🤔
1:39 where did you get the indicator scuttle which says 'SUPERCHARGED' that looks so sick! I need that badly haha Car looks amazing, definitely given me lots of inspiration for mine
The "supercharded scuttles are billet aluminum and i picked them up on ebay or amazon I believe. Well worth, far better design than oem.

How do you start the mini....I saw no key in the ignition and the two red wires that go under the stereo to the toggle switch where the aux inlet used to be, and did you delete the immobilizer???
What's cool is that I seen the mini build in 20 min video about a year ago when I got my hyper metallic blue r53. Just yesterday I was googling fender flares, seen the shirokari kit images of the white r53 and was like 😵💫, but then I see the images of this video for your r53 and was like noooo way , one of the minis I most like is finna put on that kit I'm drooling over!!! 😈😈 I was loving the synchronicity and the reoccurrence of this mini in my life, it's very fitting. hella stances, hella dope ASF , hella fresh , Hella RARE, 🔥🔥💣

So about the switch.. First major project with my MINI was a manual transmission swap. A new ignition and key was needed to complete the manual swap but I didn't like how my parts mini only came with 1 key so we wired it up under the dash to a kill switch and continued to use the original ignition and 2 keys that came with the mini. Worked great for years until the original ignition broke.
The vlog style video before the "how to build a mini in 20 minutes", shows us installing a new ignition and key in the MINI. It was a spare ignition and single key from a different parts mini I bought for a motor swap so it worked out beautifully until shortly after the 20 minute build video I lost that single key that started the mini..
At the time moving the car was time sensitive so I ended up towing it to my expert MINI mechanic for a crack head fix since I really didn't want to spend the money for a new ignition and key. I wish I could tell you its push to start right now but it's actually really easy to steal even with my super top secrete toggle switch you somehow know about.. 😅

There's an auto salvage yard here in Tucson Arizona that you are allowed to go in the yard and pull your own parts, they have one 05 r53 that has front end damage, all the motor mounts are broke, but the supercharged motor is clean and alot of the rest of the car is still there, it's like a diamond in the rough, but any way, if I get the key and the ignition barrel with it from that mini at the yard, and install just that in my car, would it start the mini ? I'm curious cause the immobilizer, I've heard, won't let it start unless it's a key that is coded into the software....I just wanna drive my mini mang.....I don't have mullah fer a key cause they are like 200 where I'm at..I'd be okay with a toggle like yours

Unfortunately this Shirokai kit is no longer available. It's 1 of 10 in the world.. it's so gooood. I'd buy a kit myself if they did come available again
