Enabling Secure Access to Resources in Azure from Azure Applications

This was informational and clear.
Is it possible to assign these managed identities to individual services in AKS to authenticate against say Cosmos DB ? So that ServiceA can access cosmosDB but Service B can't ?

There is POD managed identity that would achieve that.
