This was such a wonderful animation, it was full of love and cuteness, as a cockatiel owner, I really loved it! The only thing I find questionable about this is the ending. I mean, it's very beautyful, the little robot gave back the little bird's freedom, but technically, if you free your pet bird, you basically sentece it to die, since it's domesticated and has no clue about how to survive in the wild on its own. I know, this is just a cute little animation, and it has nothing to do with real life, but sadly this fact is not obvious for everyone. There was even a trend where people threw out their budgies from their cages saying they are "freeing them, because birds should be free." I don't want to attack the creators, or anyone, I only mentioned this because I would not like if anyone even considered to free their pet bird in the name of love after watching this. This animation was made to spread love and good vibes, not to encourage animal abuse.

This was such a good film! It looks so clean and polished! The colours are lovely! The animation charming and the overall compositing just breathtaking. This better have won a bunch of awards at festivals, for a student film, this is such high quality!
I get the idea for human concept of letting those that you love go and find there own path but to any kids watching this, don’t actually release your pets back into the wild. They don’t have any prior instincts and will most likely die in less than a week. Imagine if you were dumped in the forest as a child and never taught how to eat properly.
It feels weird to watch when you know the real deal and that this bird will probably get violently killed and then eaten be the predators ._. I've seen many films about animals that want to go into the wild and all of them had a happy ending, like this one. Which I don't get really :< It's a nice and kind film but the idea seems too childish and overused.
