CAPR is disgusting to see continue. So unprofessional. I hope people on fb will comment.

Re virtual exam, wondering how the candidate is provided with the right to appeal a failure, where this is articulated, how appeal process is implemented, what exactly constitutes a "failure" on a virtual clinical exam? This is not provided on CAPR website, or updates. The appeal process is another example of transparency, where the examining authority demonstrates its willingness to candidly show everyone exactly how this (new) exam works, incl how the appeal process here works. Every ethical post-secondary institution provides students with a formalized appeal process. Not here. Why?
Logic is implied to work, when it is in fact, valid, in multiple directions. The Bobos article challenges validity based on one set of criteria, psychometric, and so, confronts the clinical exam's preface, that it is flawed just walking in the door. But, this flaw in logic is a flaw that would also be contained as seen in the rearview mirror, if the candidate failed, because it would be equally a challenge to explain why the candidate failed, post hoc.
The fact that there is no description of an appeals process for candidates, that it has been stated on the public record that some quota of candidates fail the exam, and, that the exam is so unjustifiably costly, together leads the reasonable person to ask WHY? Candidates should be entitled to being treated in a fair, non-arbitrary manner that includes an articulated, understandable appeals process. This is presently unavailable and another reason why this exam represents an unwise direction to continue to pursue. It is challengeable, certainly as part of a complaint to the Ombudsman's office, and moreso, why CAPR must be dissolved completely.
The incompetence and disregard for ethical behaviour, treatment of candidates disqualifies any nonprofit organization conducting itself like this.
