I enjoy Mark's research work a lot. I've learned so much reading his gigantic extended version of Tune In. Going way way back helps put the Beatles in context. Can't wait for the next volume !

Mark was a great guest at the Fest and hope he is back again. Loved his work with Paul and can’t wait for his Volume 2.

Boy are we ever so glad that John gave Paul that ultimatum, and that Paul chose the Beatles...

I'd love to think the real story will come out one day, you'd have to be pretty naive to believe the 'lot of pluck/luck' narrative where so much just falls into place at the right time, it takes a lot of guiding hands and organisation to allow for such reach and influence, the idea that 4 lads just scaled those heights on the strength of mere talent and personality is quite preposterous, we know how nefarious it gets out there as regards to social control, to think the greatest success story going somehow navigated itself around any of that is kinda daft, too many anomalies/vague areas where things don't add up, Mark even presented George Martin with documented proof that was completely at odds with Martins own stated timeline of events, so much fishiness going on, I'll always love the Beatles but I just wish there was more honesty/transparency regarding their rise

I tend to agree. I also think there was an element of that in the Stones. Maybe Lennon and Brian Jones were offed when it was felt they could become too troublesome.
