what is amazing is all these mechanical problems back then, never ever happen anymore. Multiples a race in these days, now you can go weeks without even seeing one failure. parts and pieces have got so impressive over the years.
Have to laugh at Ned Jarrett. "Nobody sucks up better than Earnhardt..." What is he, a vacuum? Maybe he referred to a Hoover or Eureka? Or am I missing some odd racing vernacular? Caution 7, lap 139: Whoa! Post Mosquito Bomb! Bad for both Mikey and skeeters...

It basically means he's good at drafting lol. He's good at lining up the draft and sucking his car up to the one in front of it.
