Haven't seen the full video (yet) BUT book recs: I guess Six of Crows, Illuminae, Ember in the Ashes, and Kingdom of Souls. They are all PHENOMENAL, all fantasy, Six of Crows belongs to the Grishaverse and is a duology, Illuminae is a sci-fi trilogy told in different media "transcripted" into a book, Ember in the Ashes is a pretty brutal (in terms of YA) book and is set in a desert-centered Empire, and Kingdom of souls is a WOC fantasy based on African culture. And if you enjoy middle grade - READ NEVERMOOR. It's wonky, it's enchanting, it's fluffy, and sometimes can get a bit dark. Sorry for not really smushing in the synopsizes, but they are all great reads! WHEW that's one of an essay. Also started watching your videos and I love the aestethic!
