You really need to go into these homes in person to get the real feel for it. I watch the videos and also go in person, not even close to the same experience. I can 100% say it’s next level going inside homes like these, the details are what really matters! Now the asking prices are still way off, as in to high!!

My brother had a home built by Farr Built Homes and spent the next 8 years trying to get them to fix the faulty roof that caused thousands of dollars damage. I will check in with him but to my knowledge they still never made things right.

Those are small closets or mechanical rooms. Those rooms do not enhance the experience.

It was full of the owner's belongings and they asked not to show it. It's a large room with shelves and clothes hangers.

Yes most rooms have basic closets done by the finish carpenter. Since there are personal belongings in the closets, I didn't film them.

I didn't really get a sense of this house because who ever was filming the walk through was doing a run through instead! Really poor filming. Skipped rooms. Didn't give you time to see the rooms. It made this video pointless.

The 70's rock on the walls has to go, the painted interior brick has to go, all the gold/brass HAS to go, fire place too big and needs to go in the corner, this isn't 1902 a fireplace isn't the focal point any longer. who designed that kitchen? terrible. The exterior brick work is terrible. No gas stove really? and the laundry, jesus christ. 2 cheap ass machines? why are all the fixtures different materials????? black hinge with chrome handle and partial brass wtf...
Ugly wall paper, the buyer is going to eat shit on that slippery ass shower floor, 1950's sink in bath ugoley, boring pool, this house is nice but needs about a million to fix it make it nice.
Believe it or not, some folks don't like gas stoves (fear thing).

Something seems off. Warm colors are inviting, but it doesn't feel homey. It's almost like it's too wide open or something l, idk. Just doesn't give feel like it gives me a big hug like a house of this caliper should

It’s a nice house, but you lost me when I realized there are only two bedrooms on the main floor. I’m not into bedrooms in the basement. Idk how that has become such a common thing in new houses. Also, who puts a room with a bar directly next to bedrooms?! “Yeah, let me put the baby to sleep while we party it up in the room directly next door.” Makes no sense.

Massive and gorgeous home, however it gives the feeling of being in a "labyrinth". An emptiness pervades the house , kind of like an office building. Cold. But the views are STUNNING!
You hit the nail on the head with this assessment
Yea Labyrinth is the perfect word. Id even go further and say, even though its an odd thing to add, its a "confused" labyrinth. A labyrinth is usually purposefully complicated, i feel like these architects and the owners all got lost during the floor planning then decided to just stick with it. The flow is so off.
Modern home architecture has no sense of space or proportion. Rooms are twice the size they should be, ceilings are twice the height they should be, kitchens are massive but not very functional, walls where there should be none, then no walls where there should be a wall. The result generally leaves me unable to relax in these modern houses because everything is so off.
While dressed, the feels unfinished. Could use more soft furnishings, plants and personal things like toys for the play room to 'warm' the house. Plus weird placement of rooms. Who would want a baby's room next to the bar room?
I got three kids and my wife has 2. We so many friends that are at my house everyday it would feel like office operating houses all day.
Also I lost count but it seems like there’s more full bathrooms than actual bedrooms. But all in all I love it.
Don't need prison cells, And don't want my guests, or even myself to have to walk thru the whole house to get to a bathroom

One has to wonder; how does one maintain a home this big. Lots of outside help but who manages the help?
There are companies that specialize in cleaning large homes. If you can afford them, you don’t need to manage them, they do a great job.
office by front of house....nyet................big screen tv's WAY TOO HIGH above fireplace....neck breaker......stonework inside ok, but yellow bricks....nyet......all shower doors GLASS......my children called it 'the naked house'........

Honestly, I'm surprised this was the winner. It had some really great features but the brick was overwhelming and made it cold. The stone walls and wood walls...it didn't add to the appeal of this being a family home. And the small door outside to the patio? Would have been better if it was sliding doors so the outside could be enjoyed from the kitchen. I don't mind bedrooms in the basement but it basically every bedroom but the primary one was in the basement. I did love the designs of the bathrooms and the beautiful kitchen island. I'm sure this will be a fantastic home for someone.

These types aren’t homes imo. Somethings at this scale is a residential resort hotel.
Way too many mixed metals and types of flooring.
