- "When you don’t find anything, happiness arises. Mind is a notion. Ghost doesn’t exist. 'I am bound' and 'I am free' are notions. Mind is only a thought. Inside is ‘I’, outside space, nothingness. 'I'-thought has a tremendous power to create everything. The origin of the universe is centred in ‘I’-thought. If you go to the origin of where it arises from everything will be known to you. You will get dissolved into this state where everything arises. Nothing has ever arisen."

I never liked Ramana Maharshis teachings. I wanted deep yoga mystical meditation and visions. What I thought was enlightenment. I cried I begged to God. I have done lots of different practices. Japa everyday etc. Then around Mahashivratri I heard someone mention Ramana Maharshi and I got so into him for some reason. I thought his teachings werent deep enough at one point I guess. I was struggling in my mind, making myself crazy. Than one day I thought wait a minute Im not even the mind or body. Than I got more into Bhagavan and his devotees and it has awakened me to a feeling Ive never had. Its mind blowing how something so simple can be so hard and seem like its too easy. Its so funny to me I cant stop giggling about it. Never thought things could be this way.

This is how I explain this to myself too- empty space from which everything is arising… but if this is an emptiness, nothing actually exist, otherwise wouldn’t be an emptiness:) Can you cut, burn, make that emptiness wet, dry… no… stays the same… in winter, in summer, under the water and on top of the mountain, it is always the same. How did you feel when you were 5, you feel the same now.. only content is changing.

Since there is no separateness in the cosmos except in the I. Why does the I crave separateness, alone time, stillness. What caused the I to seek separateness while creating a individual reality that denies, quiet time, stillness n alone time. Imagine how powerful this I must be inorder to alter the environmental reality in a way that not only denies this but gives it a way to bitch n complain about not getting what it wants? But wait it created the very thing it is complaining about.
