I'm a knife guy myself. I'm very surprised at the fact that people don't carry pocket knives for the odd job anymore. Growing up, if you DIDN'T carry a pocket knife people wondered what's wrong with you. But today if you do carry one people look at you like you're a criminal of some kind. The world has really changed and in my opinion, not necessarily for the better. We all know who ruined that. At least I do.
the first knife needs to be given to a boy by his grandpa. When I was about 8 years old, my grandpa bought me a pocketknife and I still own it. It works fine. I consider that a much better gift than a computer game. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Germany
I'm doing that with all my niece's and Nephew's giving them a either a pocket knife or full tang. When I gave my 8 year old nephew his first pocket knife he thought it was the coolest thing. Of course I got permission from his mother. She didn't know if he should have one. We ran all the safety and rules. 4 year's later it's just a tool in his pocket he is used to having a pocket knife on him. I carried a pocket knife on me in Elementary school think the rules we couldn't have one but I carried mines anyways this was in the 70s I was 8-9 year's old carried one ever since.
Very Nice to see Someone from the OTHER SIDE of the W🌎RLD GERMANY 🇩🇪 GREAT PIECES I ONLY HAVE ONE from a Long time FRIEND that made it for me from Scratch. He lives in DENTON, TEXAS
Dick Richards hahaha! that's actually a buttonhole but I've gained weight and having a button there just wouldn't work so I had to put some tie tassels on there. 😁
Hey you gotta do what you gotta do brother! Lol thanks buddy, you know i'm just playin'!! love the knives too! I've got the KATZ ALAMO BOWIE crown stag handle knife, look it up you'll love it!!!! lol I do!!!
Right on! Thanks, a little over priced, but what isn't now-a-days!? I have 8 katz knives, that company must love me!! But i also love it right back so.........lol. They are fantastic knives, top shelf all the way!!
Gotta tell ya, I looked all over youtube using various keywords to find this video of yours, but once I did, it was great to see. A beautiful collection of traditional blades.
Thank you for sharing your knife and axe collection that's a really nice collection of knifes and axes. I think the sheeve that come with the knives should be just as intrastine as the knife because that is the first thing people will notice when the knife is still in the sheeve. Thanks again God Bless.
John Reynolds Thanks John for tuning In. It's definitely a decent tomahawk. I actually got it through Crazy Crow trading-post if you're interested. You can find them online. It's a pretty good value.
@@stevebuckskinner5482 I did too, but did not get my first knife until I was in the Air Force, and it was a Buck 119, and then a Buck 120 after I gave my 119 to my grandfather. I have another model 119 which I got from the Buck store with my name on it. I now have around 16 knives and like them all.
Your collection is awesome and sheat you made... it looks much more higher quality, than many "originals". Very nice job. Btw i do know something about knives and leather.
didn't expect to hear post falls mentioned in here. I happen to live there. kinda cool. I'm always looking for some cool mountain man stuff or that I can make it fit into the mountain man idea. I happen to kind of do that with an old cold steel trail master I came across that was all rusted up so it has some pits but I think it gave it character.
Demon Dreamer Right over by the Flying J truck stop and the McDonald's, there is a place there called Treasure Town. It is a kind of indoor flea market or consignment store. I bought a few things there. Theres a section in that store were they have knives and a couple of tomahawks. Right now all of that spectacular stuff is 50% off.
Thanks so much for viewing! Glad you like the collection. So do I. LOL! However, the one knife is a copy of a Bagwell Bowie made by Ontario. I'm sure you got that. It is a cool knife and it has a lot of sentimental meaning for me as well because it was my uncle's. God bless!

Thank you so much Mark! I got to say it has been my most popular video by far. A lot of knife Lovers out there. Thanks for stopping in! And thanks for the kind words!
Nice collection of blades you have. I'm partial to good steel myself, but mainly I collect by how they balance and feel in my hand being as I'm a fairly big man with big hands. Smaller knives don't appeal to me and I'm not very comfortable with a knife without a cross guard on it. I feel that if the knife slips in my grip I could injure myself. My preference for what it's worth.
