Jun Mischief Well, I think that's what makes it work so well. When its a Party scene and things are getting intense, you are expecting a Showdown or something. And with this kind of music, it just builds up adrenaline. I like how it turned out Nathan wasn't there. That was a great twist.

I would definitely go to a party like this. The music was pretty awesome. The only weird thing was how the hall was almost empty lol, supposed to be this gigantic party and there's like 12 people dancing. But otherwise the atmosphere was really good.

This playing while trying to find Nathan was a blast. The 2 moons adding to the atmosphere also maybe does it. This game 6 years later is still one of the best that I have played in my life
Whenever I'm in the Vortex Club Party, it feels REALLY uncomfortable. This is where you see the Blackwell Students at an all time low. Even after the Kate Marsh Incident (whether you save her or not), they STILL don't learn their lesson. Also, the atmosphere adds to it with the music which is good but has a sinister vibe to it, the red and purple lights, and the fact that you're here to find and kill Nathan Prescott. It gets me a little shaky every time, but I will admit it doesn't go overboard (like the strip club stage in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number); it actually fits perfectly, and if it DOES become too much for me, I'll just turn off the volume until I get to the VIP Area. The environments are just another reason why Life Is Strange is my favorite video game ever!

I played this game for the first time during the COVID lockdown and this scene legitimately inspired me to push forward so I could experience good times again like a pool party again one day. I deliberately dragged on the scene just so I could listen to all the songs and imagine I was at a pool party as cool as this

I think I like it better with the effects (just reverb that simulates the location of the party?) that was put on the music here, compared to the originals. sounds more lo-fi and atmospheric in a way. more like the world is about to end

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the music and the mixing when I got to this part of the game. Not that the rest of the soundtrack was bad in any way, but this is exactly the area you would expect them to fuck it up, and boy did they NOT fuck it up XD
