Mine doesn’t have that provision for a screw driver. You need a microscope to see the names so tiny. The charges are cheap and nasty And no way can you get the battery covers off. Very poor quality.
I guess you must have a different make and/or model of BT Digital Voice Handset to the one that I had when I made this video. Unfortunately is difficult for me to help when I haven't got the same handset. Sorry.
Thanks so much for this video. I had no idea how to remove the back from the handset but it came off easily using a small screwdriver.

I think things are designed for easy & cheap manufacturing rather than quick, easy and cheap repair.☹️
The clue lies in the name of the country of origin!
You can do this easily with your finger nails! Not rocket science..
I can't open it with my fingernails - they are too short. I needed the screwdriver.
