For those who don't know, Henry has been presumably brainwashed by the Order of the Emerald Night. The movie he is alluding to is Thor and it caused him to remember his past trauma of being captured and he associates it with Travis's crying. It sucks that he's evil now since NMH2 ended pretty well for the brothers. Fun note: Hates crying and green energy is a reference to Broly from DBZ.

It kind of looks like that Henry deathfiled in between NMH2 and TSA. Deathfiling is a concept introduced in The 25th Ward, which is basically when a person enters a higher state of being.

This sounds like a remix of "We Are Finally Cowboys" but at the same time empty. As thought it became hollow and scared of it's identity. But at the same time as if as a warning to stop continuing

Yo here’s something interesting I found out recently on Twitter. Somebody looked into the games files and apparently in the files Henry’s theme here is called “Sketch Your Corpse.” That honestly shocked me. I’ve always thought it would have been called “We Are No Longer Cowboys.” At least now we kind of found out the official name for this song. Although I wish they gave Gold Joe’s theme an actual name too. Just calling it Gold Joe don’t feel right.
In the end the Brother who started out a near friendless waste of space and spent the first game indulging his bloodlust the name of getting a cheap lay, wound up a with a loving wife, a father of two and with his own quirky band of comrades and effectively the man who saved the world from an alien invasion The Brother who started out as the self described "Cool, Handsome Foil" turned into an unhinged maniac who's traits that originally made him look stylish now only served to make him look like a cringy edgelord In the end Travis was the better brother on the simple grounds that he fully embraced his dorky hobbies and passion and they in turn actually managed to make him into a believable yet still badass character Henry on the other hand.......watched Thor and went crazy ....... strange that.....
Id argue its the opposite, Travis's hobbies and lifestyle are all driven by media he loves, but the chips are down he will focus on whos important in his life and even try to save people sometimes, if not just to be like heroes he likes. (putting his hobby driven persona aside for a moment) Henry decided he wanted to give up on his personality and be defined by weird devotion to his new favorite movie or something.

Call me a pussy all you want but his fight took me so many tries because i didnt want to do the finishing blow. Even if henrys no longer himself (although he never truly *has* been himself) it was still an extremely heartwrenching moment after all the time ive spent with him during the series and i just had to put the joycons down for a little second
@@SneedtheAlmighty The Voice Actor Quinton Flynn was not able to voice Henry due to some allegations in 2020. Therefore, they had to have someone else voice Henry. To put short, Quinton was supposed to voice Henry, but some allegations prevented that.
This fight shocked me when I first played it, yeah I knew he kinda turned evil when he did the Order of the Emerald Night in TSA and attempted to kill Travis back then but when Travis "killed" Henry it had me on edge cause i knew both characters for years so seeing this kind of conclusion was... something.
I hate nmh3 Henry, his badass "we are finally cowboys" boss battle theme was pretty epic for him his look and Irish voice was also epic ngl but in nmh3... i hate it, i didnt played tsa yet but i hope they got a good excuse
TSA is, IMO, the best in the series. It's *totally* worth it. And it adds a tiny bit more context as to what happened with Henry. The other possible details are hidden in Suda's other games, like Killer 7 and The Silver Case series.
I like what they did. Henry was always supposed to be a parody of rivals like Vergil and Satsuki, and this was made after DMCV where the catalyst character for the troupe was effectively brought back from being evil into a more neutral state, so having all his cool traits instead be twisted against him into becoming a cringelord who goes insane after joining a cult and watching Thor, and then killing him off without any sort of ceremony like a dog, makes a lot of thematic sense.

I just finished this game and the whole Henry sequence just made me depressed.

Not sure why so many people don’t like this theme! Sure it doesn’t compare to how amazing We Are Finally Cowboys was but this is still a cool theme!
