Geshu-Lin, wielding black Havoc flames and causing circumstances that directly led to more War for Jinzhou, sounds like an EXCELLENT candidate for a chosen Resonator for Ovathrax.
@FaishglyOvathrax was noted to specifically represent war. The threnodian in Rinascita is named Leviathan, and the Sentinel is Imperator. The loading screen tips mention the Sentinels, plural, so I’m pretty sure Kuro is setting it up so each Sentinel has their own nemesis Threnodian. And we didn’t kill Ovathrax, he just backed off after he saw Abby munch Dreamless for us.
I feel like Geshulin is getting the Madara treatment. They hyped his story up only to dissapear as some legend-like figure, and I believe he will return as one of the biggest villains in Wuwa in whichever version he arrives at.

( He soloed a fully manifested threnodian ( rover jiyan and every other resonator of jinhzou had to come together to possess a change against a mere puppet( dreamless ) and some other mobs ) and they still would have lost had it not been for abby . My guy was doing that all alone against a fully manifested overthrax and countless mobs. He solos your magistrate along with the entirety of jinhzou resonators except rover . I started the game with only one account but ended up creating two. One account for just going with the flow pulling for anyone I like and another one saving since day 1 for genshulin and scar if they ever be playable lmao.
Powerscaling wise, he's the most powerful resonator in recent history, going up against a threnodian by himself, and evidently kilking it. With Jinshi's second resonance awakening, she's on a whole different tier of power, putting her at the second place in the verse. She also has the temporal mandate, buffing her time manip. Jiyan and Rover seem to be tied for third place, going up against buffed Threnodian constructs, the crownless and the dreamless. Not only did they damage both of these, but they tanked it's attacks. We know a weapon of mass destruction was needed to break it's barriers, to do so with a single Spectro enhanced attack is something else. Changli takes 4th place, her biggest feat so far is the destruction 9f an entire sonoro Sphere. While it was designed to be destroyed by her, we need to understand what that means. Quite literally, the resonance energy making up that trans-dimensional space was so cold that burning it away would take flames so hot, only Changli could produce them. Lastly, Phrolova and Scar occupy fifth, lacking any real feats, and simply scaling based on their combat interactions. Edit: Ovathrax is the only real example of strength we have from a Threnodian so far, saying Leviathan is stronger is just statement farming - it's unjustified. Until we see Leviathan close up, we can't scale it right now. Jinshi inherited the Temporal Mandate from Jue, but it's worth pointing out that she could barely tickle a greatly weakened Jue and had a high chance of dying from inheriting the temporal mandate. Based on this, she might've been able to 1v1 Dreamless mid diff, but not Ovathrax. Lastly, Ovathrax is NOT at the peak of its power, Lord Arbiter (Rover at their peak) with Jue's help would most likely be the only ones who could handle it mid diff. It does seem as if Geshu pushed himself into a second awakening to beat Ovathrax, but that remains to be seen.

Huanglong consists of 6 cities and a capital : - Jinzhou the city at the frontier watching over Huanglong outside its natural borders. - A capital and 5 cities inside the natural borders which are huge mountains surrounding them. Huanglong got an outside area ( the map we have now and maybe more ) and an inside area ( surrounded by the mountains, the only entrance is gorges of spirits. This is why the warcamp at Jinzhou is called a frontline bcz its was made so they can watch over the only entrance to the inside area ). All those infos are in the game.

@cynthiahembree3957 No, the Echo description for Jué calls Them a Deity. And multiple times throughout 1.1 Jué is revered as a divine being. There's an npc in Mt. Firmament that calls Jué a god. All Sentinels are Deities lore-wise. Imperator is simply more well-known and revered in Rinascita.
@ SK and Rover are also called Divine beings but no one is calling her a divinity. Even with Jue being called a deity Huanglong isn’t really “worshiping” it in the same way that Regunna is worshipful Imperator. So again Regunna is unique in their worship of Imperator at this time. In fact there is not a single church in Jinzhou. Also all deity means is divine being so there is that.

@orekihoutarou9376 Overthrax isn't a god, though. Only Leviathan has been mentioned as a deity, so Overthrax is just another powerful Threnodian force. It can't have its own Resonator.
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859If you do the main story for 2.0 it’s confirmed Threnodian can have an appointed resonator. Also tbf Jue is also not treated as a god. Leviathan and Imperator are a special case so far
@cynthiahembree3957 No, the Echo description for Jué calls Them a Deity. And multiple times throughout 1.1 Jué is revered as a divine being. There's an npc in Mt. Firmament that calls Jué a god. All Sentinels are Deities lore-wise. Imperator is simply more well-known and revered in Rinascita.
@ SK and Rover are also called Divine beings but no one is calling her a divinity. Even with Jue being called a deity Huanglong isn’t really “worshiping” it in the same way that Regunna is worshipful Imperator. So again Regunna is unique in their worship of Imperator at this time. In fact there is not a single church in Jinzhou. Also all deity means is divine being so there is that.
