These devlogs _already_ have me wishing I had a VR rig lmao I especially dig how you have to break the enemies' stance to get a damage window, so you can't just bully them before they can blink like some other VR games. _Interacting with_ the enemies, rather than _invalidating_ them. And of course the weapon arts are sick. I _knew_ we didn't need full-dive VR for that SAO mix of freeform slashing and special attacks. My broke ass will continue to check your progress :D
i think you should make so leveling up was in a menu you can open anywhere with a press of a button so when i have level up you dont need to run to the town to use stats
Instead of having the camera snap when you look around, you should have a smooth option and be able to change it whenever. I think that'll be pretty cool.
I really love the idea of using money to level up! Having to deciding whether or not to level up or buy new gear gives money so much more value. That great design!
The game is planned to be multiplayer where you see your own hands and the other players see your body IK. and when I switch to that camera perspective is basically what other players will see
you used the the leveling up system from Elden ring and dark souls the only differences is the different stats you can upgrade and that souls were replaced by data
They say if it ain't broke don't fix it, and that's my motto :) While leveling up attributes is common in RPGs, the souls-like genre has popularized it even further. I don't mind if my project has a souls-like feel, but I'm wary of people boxing it in and comparing it to something that doesn't represent the game as a whole
Have a read about optimization. Its possible to Create hyper realistic environments with really solid performance. Your performance issues in your lasted update video is very very fixable
@@voidrealitylab like when u reach a certain stat point for example damage u can unlock or use a buff that strengthen your character and if u raised all the stats to a certain point u can use "transcend" for a fixed amount of time to double all the stats, something like that. thank you by the way for responding. i have nothing but excitement just from watching the dev blogs, good luck sir, and i hope it will reach it's final state that we can play. looking forward on the release.
