Long before the pandemic a huge portion of collectors on forums and discords across the US would complain that you had to be a "somebody" to get a 10. PSA essentially controlled the population dolling out 10s to F&F while the rest of us would get them at a much much lower rate. This drove people to crack and resubmitted creating an entire industry doing it. This helped PSA 2 ways, kickbacks from F&F on super rare cards and people grading the same cards over and over = $$ for the top guys at PSA. Eventually they were going to get caught grading unfairly now that they can capitalize on higher/proper grades. So it is more likely they were under grading for decades and now grading more fairly I believe .
SGC pop control too, especially with the bigger names. I had 7 pack fresh Lewis Hamilton cards come back as 3 8.5's, 3 9's and 1 10. It seemed like two different graders graded them as two different labels were printed out. I bet they didn't even inspect the cards. @@CodyLonardo
Question: I have sent to PSA a couple times and not only the grades have been off, but the charges are getting out of control. In your opinion, is it still worth it or should we all jump to BGS?
Bgs has worse customer service and turnaround times imo then psa and that is saying something. Along with that the market does give a premium to the psa 10 however silly that is
BGS grade stickers well and fairly. They seem to be particularly hardon certain cards though. Some grader nailed me on the corners. Gave me all 8.5's and 9's. Complained to Charles Stabile, but he just told me to f off basically. I won't be sending many more cards there. Maybe a few stickers and that's it.
PSA seem to be giving cards PSA 10's that don't warrant it, just so they can upcharge. I got upcharged $600 for 2 Messi PSA 10 World Cup 2006 stickers. They're both off centred. I also got charged $300 for a card which had corner wear. It's not right. I only paid about $12 to get the cards.
PSA be greedy! I thought declared value was just to protect the cardholder I didnt know they can upcharge if they find the card is worth more thats ridiculous the value of the card doesnt change the type of service you're getting. Either way you're getting boned lol
Whenever I want to learn more about soccer cards I watch you guys I love your videos

Agreed. The problem isn't thats psa is giving out too many 10s now, it was that they were controlling the population of 10s before.

All I know is Floods of any color that get 10s are rare. That set is hard.
What original service did you guys send in the uncharged Messi autos?
Great video! Quality cards mates. Cheers. Probably should just be stoked you got 10’s on the best cards.
Congrats on the Messi autos mate! That is insane! You have a price on he lost rookie?
Nice vid. Do you auction all those cards on eBay, or do you set them at a fixed price and take best offer?
Some will go to auction on whatnot. Some will be on eBay. A lot of them are in the PC and some of them is going into Will’s grave
Love your channel a lot.❤❤❤❤❤❤

unfortunately the market is the market. PSA has us by the balls

@@jonnyb798That PSA 10 premium is starting to slow down a bit. Just look at the C Ronaldo Panini Megacraques 2003 PSA 10's. Gone from $312k to $34k

@@jonnyb798They don't confirm receipt of packages straight away. Gives you a heart attack thinking they've lost or stolen your cards.
Congrats! Looks like the boys did well on this one
Congrats on the grades! PSA up-charges are absolutely criminal!
