Mwaf - this trip will change your attitude about America. There is no other country that gives you a chance at success like America does despite all its flaws
Mwaf endelea kujenga Wakenya. We can achieve these dreams as we build both the countries that provide opportunities and also back home. The best content I watched.
But Jua tu Texas land ni ya maana for farming only in March to July after June pest insects ambush and destroy everything umepanda plus heat. I live in Denton next to Dallas county and I have tried kupanda .
Yaani mwaf has compared a whole state bigger than kenya with our city, compare the price of land in Washington DC with Nairobi prices, ukitaka land for 7 million, naweza get so many acres for that price, plus remember you pay property tax, hapa niko kwa freehold
The U.S. is one of the few countries where nobody can become somebody as long you want to work. Imagine owning that piece of land for around Kshs.7M?! that's mind-blowing, to say the least.
Arizona acre moja ni $10k (1.4M KHS.) very cheap. Lakini just know in US you pay property tax every year. So sio kununua shamba na kuacha ikae ivo ukingoja it appreciates. Itakukula pesa mbaya.
Surprised things like land/property taxes and zoning never came up. Mwaf wakenya wengi wanadhani you can do as you wish with land. Heh! ngoja mufike huku and you start going through planning boards etc
Kenya is a tiny country with a very large population which drives up demand because of density per km where else in USA or in this example, Texas it’s huge Texas is bigger than Kenya and has about half the population of Kenya.
If you invest over $800k in US you're eligible for a EB-5 visa which will lead you to acquiring a green card. All land in the US, except native American land, you have to pay property taxes every year depending on the valuation of that land. This is one of the main reasons why land and properties are not over valued.
Need to be cautious. Never approach another state with your local thinking. In US owning a property is not highly regarded. That land is bond by many aspects
I'd really like to know bei ya shamba uko cali especially hizo sides za san diego , i have an uncle ako huko na msee ako na shamba ingine bigi , na hunishow amesota.
When the deal is so sweet think twice-- It's always never greener in the other side of the "pasture"... Dallas_Mashamba is not talking about property tax that the government will tax you continuously even if you not developing that land, again.. he says you can build a house 300k and sell it at 600k... bro in USA it doesn't work that way.. property is valued too according to location and closest amenities available; security, weather and many other factors determine the market price!! DETROIT kuna keja ya $50k but weeeh... ile kipindi utakua umejiweka imeshinda riparian lands in Nairobi City!! THINK TWICE!!
Nairobi used to be one of the greenest cities in Africa, but not anymore especially with the construction of the expressway where most trees were chopped down to make way for the highway.
Buying land away from the city can be tricky. There are very many abandoned properties with houses, pools, and lakes, yet no one wants them because of the commute to the city. It may be worthwhile to hold on to the land until the city comes to you. I know someone who owned a lot of land and was offered lots of money for it, but he declined to sell. He died of old age about a year ago. He had no family in the US, so your guess is as good as mine as to what happened to his property.

A major reason land is cheaper in the US compared to Kenya is because there are alternative and safe investment opportunities. Supply n demand.

In US Thing work different. Most houses there are more expensive than the land they are built on.
