My grandma had a Christmas Angel that played Silent Night and hadn't worked for ages, but she kept it out as a decoration, right after my great grandma passed away the Angel, without anyone touching it, played the chorus "sleep in heavenly peace" and hasn't made another sound since.

I had goosebumps listening to your dream because ever since I loss my mom and and grandparents every dream that I have with any of them they are happy and healthy and look like they did when they were well. I truly think that God gives us those dreams to comfort us and to show that they are happy and with him. I don't comment on things but I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my son in 2011 from a heart defect he was born with. He was with us 16 years with many surgeries. I had a dream after he passed and I don't dream or don't remember them but this one was awesome. He was very happy and full of life so much so I thought it was real and he touched me, I woke and my skin was still warm from where his hand laid. I knew then it was going to be o.k.

I have dreams about my mom all the time. I've been bedridden for many years myself (I was born with JRA, and it's in a really bad flare up) and my mom passed away from Cancer. I never got to say goodbye, because she lives in Florida, and I'm all the way up in Toronto, and again, bedridden. The plus side, however, is that I was never forced to watch her suffer. Now, I'm an Atheist (although if people want to pray for me, I take it as although compliment) so this thought process may not mesh entirely, but it's the root that I want to get across. (Not preachy, just a way of thinking) While we're on this earch, our reality is what we can see, smell, touch, taste... etc. I don't know about you, but I experience all of these in my dreams. So as far as my mind is concerned, and for all intents and purposes, she's not really gone. You can say that's God showing you how your loved ones are, in heaven, or that they've come to send you a message, but for me, because our senses are the only real, tangible proof of our own realities, and for that reason, I feel like my mother in my (edit: I pressed "edit: accidentally typrd in my sleep.) Dreams, is just as real as my actual mom. When you dream of family pased, they become family present ♡
My mom passed away 5 yrs ago and every day seems to be better then the next. Many people said you'll be ok in a few yrs, but it's not that easy. Lean on your family and friends during your time, I barely did and barely made it. Much love

My mom told me she felt her mom next to her bed the night after she passed, and she told her don’t be sad I am with my family and I am very happy! Yes I do believe god watches over us! I have all my loved once ( brother died of DMD grandparents aunts and so on) I have lost in my 46 years with me every single day! Sometimes I giggle and know they where laughing at what I did! It’s nice to have this feeling. I should be mad at god god for giving my son the same disease as my brother died of at 14, but I got told god only gives you what you can handle! So we are very strong because of it!
