Great points, consider this though, the Lord did not die in our place. The Lord's death paid the price required for sin. So a man cannot say, ok if the the Lord died in our place then if I am crucified then I am good to go. No we just paid the price of our sin. The Lord's blood was the only price that would satisfy the debt. We then acknowledge that and thank Jesus for paying our debt that we could never pay.
So, when someone prays "with the blood of Jesus", all this makes it sound like it's not actually a good thing to say that. So now, the blood of Christ represents sin?????
