Dunes in Słowiński National Park, Poland

Slowinski National Park
It was created in 1967. It covers an area of over 32,000 sq. hectares in the central part of the Polish coast of the Baltic Sea. The name of the park comes from the Slovincians, a small ethnic group that lived in this area. The biggest peculiarity of the park are the moving dunes. It is the largest area of wandering sand in Europe - it covers about 500 hectares. The whole area resembles a sand desert. Some dunes are still moving eastwards, even at speeds of up to 10 m per year. The highest of them reach a height of several dozen meters, for example Łącka Góra rising 42 meters above sea level.

Oj, mam niedosyt ale takie mi się odciski na podeszwach stóp zrobiły, w drodze na wydmy że nie miałam głowy do cieszenia się w pełni tymi widokami... Pięknie tam.
