Going with 11 inch blue gill! I was wrong, but it was a bluegill! BTW mounted my C2500S to a Expride 2610ML the older model. Haven’t got a hundred fish on it yet. A noticeably softer tip then the 7’2 ML Expride. Enjoy your weekend and hopefully kids had a safe and fun Halloween!
Ever checked out the Daiwa Esmeralda series? I've been looking at the new RX and like the dual handle with it also being only around 6oz for the 2500. Seems like it would be a good option to pair with a 7ML rod with light braid
i know that reel but it doesn't come in ultralight size, otherwise i might have bought one .. I am struggling to review even ultralight stuff... its impossible to review everything out there..
Have some crappies in a fish tank now for a year now and man I've realized that they are LAZY. They either eat a minnow right when I drop it in the tank or they will wait until dark to eat. They do not like chasing down bait unless they are starving. That reminds me of casting and instantly getting hit or not getting anymore hits after a few nibbles. They will sometimes suck a minnow up and for some reason spit it out. They will either lose interest in it majority of the time because the minnow swims away or try to eat it again. Kinda like when you are jig fishing with a float and your float gets nibble once but nothing after until you recast. They are kinda awful hunters lol unless they starving or in spawning mood.
I got a Stella 2000 and the Exist 2000 I don’t see any reel on the market can beat it vanquish the new one is right there with them I like the the new stardic fl better than the vanford but I sold all my stradic reels got vanquish and Stella and Exist and the old daiwa Luvias airity LT 1000-2000-3000 tell you the truth I love the 21 Luvias airity LT I don’t like the new Luvias airity

i did check. Looks like felt to me but maybe they are not so easy to tell. How did they modify the spool?

weird coincidence... i just closed my old soare XR. Cleaned and regreased and feels a little better. Will think about it next time i have an open reel

My theory and as a fish aquarist is the wind oxygenates the water more, which in turns supercharges the fish.
Also makes boats less spooky because there is more surface disturbance and natural ambient noise
