If you use your scope like this and touch the bare metal piece of the connector(the side of the scope) you can get a shock from the mains. Guess how i know.

This oscilloscope is good for audio amplification test, for generate the signal and test the output, all in 40hz to 20khz range
Is the ADC sampling rate high enough?

200khz is enough for test audio equipment like me.
Most of the test that I do is under 200khz.
