Yup. There’s a reason the podcast used to do like 35k views on average when Kyle was the host. Personalities matter a lot and the way Kyle and the individual Allies would bounce off each other was unique and we will never get it again. :(
Kyle's knack for always remembering the presence of the audience, and making sure they hear what they need to know, is great to watch. It's a way of thinking about podcasting, presenting info, and connecting with the listener that's so much more advanced that just talkin' through the news. It's real journalistic/presenter talent, IMO.
Great episode, surprisingly really really sad episode in what feels like a psuedo send-off. we'll likely never see this combo again, whoever left the comment "Huber and 3 ghosts" really struck something in me and I got pretty emotional. Really shocking how great Huber is at hosting, he would have slotted perfectly into Frame Trap/EZA podcast hosting duties, some of those transitions were really fun. It's really fun to have Bosman there to play the counter and even Jones to some extent just not buying into the hype of some stuff and forcing a more interesting conversation
I think we have to remember that Huber is following blood’s notes. It’s like having a substitute teacher. He did a great job, definitely. Excited for him. But we have to hand it to blood too. It was a collab.
Some major highlights in this episode, from Kyle’s admission, to all the Red Dead talk, Don’s appearance, and Kyle’s sign off to round it out. I legit clapped when Kyle said his catchphrase. Feels good to get the band back together for one more job.
This really made me miss the old days so much. Great episode. Thanks for the memories. You guys have been a staple in our gaming/entertainment lives for so many years now. This felt like a perfect send-off for this era of EZA.
Pure Epicness. 400. Massive L&R, no better crew in gaming, Miss all the Allies so much, yet we truly celebrate 'em moving on and doing their thing, thriving. Long live Easy Allies! _P.s._ wheretheheck is Ben
All hail the Dark Prince! Also, props to Huber for hosting. Can't be easy to just jump in and cover those grounds, especially when you have to go through the entire Game Awards AND moderate Kyle's RDR2 derailment. He and Brad have clearly shown they can step up when needed.
What a way to send off the podcast! The best line-up possible outside of Ben showing up. It's sad as someone who's been an eza fan since gt shuttered but all good things must come to an end.
Given his Chaotic nature, I never would have guessed it, but HUBER is an excellent host!!! I think his energy is perfect to keep up the convo and engagement … in retrospect (and thinking of Mysterious Monsters) it makes perfect sense!
Correction 2:20:51 Kyle says "What category would you put Alan Wake 2 in, why was that NOT an Action-Adventure?"... but AW2 was indeed nominated for Best Action-Adventure this year.
👏🏻 Simply the best! Easily one of the greatest episodes ever! I’ve listened to my fair share of different gaming podcasts for 10+ years and while there are others that I love and enjoy and listen to weekly still, there’s literally NOTHING like what we see here with this group. The chemistry and camaraderie, the hype and also thoughtful critique, the obvious humor and playfulness intertwined with the inside jokes and very personal connection. The way Kyle pokes the bear with everyone and always manages to pull more conversation out of a topic. Huber was a fantastic host this episode as well. The whole coverage Thursday was fantastic honestly. Reminded me of E3’s in the past and proves just how dynamic this group is when they’re all together. As others have said “lightning in a bottle”. It’s sad to see another ally go and know that things are changing again. I hope this group knows how special they all are and that their content and coverage was truly unmatched. Love and Respect 🫡
I can't count the number of times I laughed until I cried this episode. Late night conference season podcasts have the absolute best vibes. Miss Bosman's vibes on the podcast, sorely missed presence. God this line up makes me feel so bittersweet.
Yeah there were so many moments he would make a good comment to add to the cast and the dude next to him in the middle would just quickly agree and a potentially good convo would be over.
What to say that hasn't been said before. This is the 1st full EZA podcast I've checked out in almost 2 years. Bosman is just a gem. Put Huber next to him and you get instant magic. Whatever happens to EZA in the future, I hope these guys get together every once in a while to do some kind of game related stuff in the future. Also, anyone knows what podcast nr the "Salad Mike" thing is from?
I never would have predicted it but Huber is a great podcast host. I would honestly enjoy seeing him host regularly. Being in the drivers seat seems to keep him on task and less likely to tangent off, while still being the Huber hype and energy machine we all love. Could be great twist for EZA 2024.
I only started watching this channel and podcast this year and watching this classic lineup is wonderful to see. I hope these guys can all come back again soon!
I love how this new Remake trilogy depends on the OG FF7 to expand everything and give us a new story with our favorite characters. That’s a dream come true imo and not many franchises can do that with a reimagining. It just works perfectly here. Rebirth can’t come soon enough!
this panel is so awesome; you have brandon with his smooth nature and Kyle with his points to challenge the whole panel.. so perfectly balanced as all things should be

I cannot express how special it is to have Kyle and Jones on together.
Watched this live. So grateful that I found you guys so long ago. Really miss this entire crew, but glad we get these moments from time to time.
I honestly love Kyle’s more grounded and pessimistic stance on things opposite Huber’s overhyping of the most mundane things. It’s a good balance.
Seeing you four together makes me so nostalgic. I was 20 when I started listening to the podcast, and now I'm 27, still here with the same cast 😅
