This is a private university, therefore the dorms are also privately owned by the university. The rent of the dorms range between 450 Euro to 600 Euro per month based on your choice of room (3 person shared, 2 person shared or single accommodation).
Hi.. thanks for sharing this.. can you share how's the image of this University? Is it deemed to be a reputable campus in Germany? Do you think many employers attracted to their alumni? I'm planning to take MBA in IT Management, what's the image of this program? I hope you can share your insights if you know about these.. thank you 😊
Hi there, I am not sure about an MBA in IT Management, but IU is a reputable private university in Germany and is now worldwide due to its online programs. Their alumni generally go on to work with big companies in good positions. IU emphasizes career building for their students and alumni and this conducts a lot of seminars and meetings with partner and external companies who are keen on hiring IU alumnis. Hope this comment helps and wish you all the best for your studies.
Very nice video, you didn't mention that you used to be able go up the mountain by donkey. My oldest brother used to guide them up the hill as a young teenager in the early 60s.
Its a good university, classes are in small groups so the lecturers are more attentive to you. Depending on your major, the lecturers are usually specialists on the field who are also teaching on the side which I personally think is very valuable.
why doesn't the campus have no labs or facilities whilst they are having Engineering and Robotic majors on their courses list. Quite scary or I just don't know something about Germany's private universities?
Engineering and Robotics as well as alike subjects are not taught in the IU Bad Honnef campus. For these subjects they offer either distance learning or dual studies. In the case of dual studies you work with a company where you gain practical field experience.
Thank you for your comment. There are some student jobs available in Bad Honnef but there are more options in Bonn or Cologne which are not too far from Bad Honnef.
Hi, I would be too glad if you reply my comment. I am planning for IUBH, just a simple question. How's the University and what's the job prospect there in germany
The university is great when it comes to teaching. However, the management is a little slow and under staffed. They have various courses to select from on their website. When it comes to job prospects, it depends on your field of study. But if you are looking for a part-time job (20 hours/week) during your study then there are plenty of opportunities in super markets or as a delivery person with flexible shifts and a minimum pay of 12+ euro + bonus on top. Good luck!
it definitely is worth only if you want to get more opportunities as compared to India, coz once you complete you BS here in Germany you can directly apply for Msc in CS at some public university like SAARLAND or TU university, you can also do good internships here in Germany coz we all know in India companies usually expect you to be in your pre final year or final year in order to get into internship, but here it's different, you can apply for jobs in your field from your very 1st semester as a working student. @@100K_WITH_0Videos
The University is good but, depends on which subject you want to study. Sorry for my very delayed response. And thank you for watching my video and your comment.
Hi... I watched your videos and I'm a bit confused and unsure about Germany.. Can you please share your email or any contact info, it would be very helpful for me! 🙏🏻 Thanks
Sorry for the delayed response. I had your query in mind. You had asked before if it is better to come to Germany for undergraduate or master’s degree. I think it is better to complete your UG in India and then go for master’s in Germany. It would be more cost effective. Students can work part-time in Germany, but it can hamper their studies. I talked to a professor in a ME university, and he has the same opinion.

Are student dormitories state owned or privately owned? And how much they can cost?
This is a private university, therefore the dorms are also privately owned by the university. The rent of the dorms range between 450 Euro to 600 Euro per month based on your choice of room (3 person shared, 2 person shared or single accommodation).

what is the living cost in bad honnef?
I can’t tell you the exact amount, but roughly I can give you an idea. €900 excluding health insurance.
is that true they have 70 thousands of on campus students?
No it is 70K+ students in the entire IU group, which includes online studies all around the world and campus studies all around Germany. 🇩🇪

Can i spend my daily life using English at bad honnef?
Generally English is enough. However, you may find difficulties when using public transportation like buses or at local cafes and supermarkets.

No, I don’t. But I visited many times and stayed there.
