Superb handling of the camera again by Mike, amazing angles... And he does all this work while a flock of diamond billed rock peckers might lurk just around the corner!!!
Starting at 4:28 - What an awesome camera angle! And almost unbelievable how stable the view is when you're suspended off the tow-boom with one arm hangin' out the window! - - And I'll betcha no one would even give this a second of thought, but at 2:45 - Rory is lifting a 35x12.50R15 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss (71 lbs.) mounted on what appears to be a 15x10 steel wheel (approximately 32 lbs.). And if you don't think lifting a 100+ pound wheel/tire assembly up onto the back of a lifted truck is necessarily difficult to do - try it sometime. Anyhoo - Thank you to everyone involved for once again sharing your content with us! 👊
How can a 1982? I think? GM product do the things that Rory makes it do? Rory takes Trail Mater® places and recovers sometimes severely broken so-called far superior machines and hauls their broken machines through the same terrain that snapped their spindly axles or tie rods or any other catastrophic failures. I think it's a testament to Rory's driving skills, knowing his equipment and knowing it's breaking point. Hat's off to Rory and his crew and the star that is Trail Mater® I love how the camera guy is getting some awesome shots, suspension shots front and back. Awesome work there, plus you point out gorgeous views that are scary just watching on a TV screen and you guys are seemingly clinging to the edges and gripping for traction. In my opinion it's just fantastic to watch. I want to thank you so much. Your camera work is extraordinary. You're a great addition to the crew.
Hats off to Rory!! It’s a Chevy is the reason he can get the broken ones out!! I bet he very rarely pulls out old Chevys and GMCs!! I used to get calls all times of night to go drag out my buddies in their jeeps and fords with my old K10
Great job Rory and Mike good camera work on Mike's part keep up the great videos keep up the great stuff stay safe and have fun from your big fan down in Papakura New Zealand big Matt
That caliper on the mount trick is pretty cool. Another busted Jeep off the trail. If you were keeping score I think you would have run out of wall in the recovered Jeep section. Nice work. Thanks Mike for coming out on a sunday to show us what went down, and thanks Rory for sharing your adventures.
Found the channel a month or so ago and binge watched to catch up. Love the great attitudes, equipment and recoveries and the scenery is EXCELLENT! Thanks for the great entertainment!
those rock formations are simply awsome good job filming mike also you guys make it look easy if i ever brake down in moab i know who im calling sean lol
Thanks Rory, good recovery! Hey Mike, when does "rock pecker" hunting season open? We should go, one would look good mounted on the wall, or the hood of Mater.
Moab Motorsports/Trailmater are awesome guys. Unfortunately that's my rig, spends most of its time in the shop. Moab Motorsports installed the Dana 44 tj rubicon front axle, from my last trip out,the dana 30 broke. We wanted to install the rcv axle shafts, but rcv were giving rory the runaround. She was so close to finishing the trifecta, but stuff breaks, but that's why we have these guys to come out and recover the vehicle and get it fixed,to save the trip...and they did this faster than I expected. So the niner has a dana 44 front, ford 8.8 rear all with chromoly shafts. ARB front and rear lockers,Moab Motorsports installed the dana 44 truss. Clayton long arm kit,231 transfer case. My goal since I was new to offroading, was get a cheap offroading vehicle that i could learn with...she's getting there. Just not the cheap part..lol.
I appreciate the whole production. The video capture has always been interesting. Whoever does the video edits stitches things together nicely. The occasional bloopers at the end always make me laugh. Nice job team.
No need to fear trailmater is here. When you're out there off road and then you'll break apart who do you call Trail Mater. With the fastest stickwell ever. Will fix even the Brokenness things if you're four with their brakes in half no need to fear. Where their own trail later Gorilla Tape. We can put you back together in the Jiffy Pop. And with Mike swinging camera and brake pedal. Sometimes with his arm out trolling.🤷🏽♂️👍🏽🤙🏾✌🏽🤘🏾🖐🏽🤛🏽🥜🐿🍕🌯🙋🏽♂️🌮😊😎.
Diamond Billed Rockpecker is making a come back, since Mike made it aware they were endangered spices from the poachers getting them for their Diamond Bill
It seems you have at least one learing opportunity in each video. I learned, today, to always keep a roll of electrical tape in the vehicle 🙂. Gorgeous scenery, including the DBRP work!
Only 1 snorkel in that whole group of (almost) matching overlanders? Someone's under-prepared for sure. Thanks for the upload - great filming, great scenery.
Thanks for sharing this with us mate, your channel is so easy to watch, it’s real not scripted for clickbait like some of the other channels like Matt’s off road recovery, they’ve definitely jumped the shark. Cheers from down under.
clickbait for this channel is just showing the thing your going out for hahahaha im like ooooh that looks good broke axel you say....mud..sxs on..... im here for it
I’ve never thought that MORR had any clickbait titles on their uploads… In any case are you going to watch it or not? If you’re going to watch it who cares what the title is?
Damn this is such a tastefully done GC. I have a 98 I've been slowly working on, been my perfect little recovery machine for getting people out of snowy ditches
Ok Rory and Mike to the rescue of another Jeep broke axle. Beautiful office the Trail Mater team work in! It seems that the "Rock Pecker's" are always on the job out there makes you wonder about their Union?
That's why my #toyotawithajeepaxle has a hybrid Dana 3044HP with k10 outers and Warn locking hubs and Chromo Dutchman Axle shafts! I recently broke the driver side axle and was able to drive on it for months! Just fixed it the other day and then I ordered passenger side and an extra set of hubs, I can arrange to have more Hybrid Dana 3044HP Jeep/Chevy K10 Axles made if anyone needs? Let me know? Always a great video Rory and crew! Keep em coming!
Dana 3044HP hybrid Axle with 456 gears, Chevy k10 outers and steering knuckles, Dutchman Chromo Axle Shafts, Fully sleeved ( Normally a Dana 30HP weight is around 150lbs mine is around 250 ) Locker and 6 Lug, with Chevy k10 Brakes, Warn Premium Locking Hubs, I will be eventually upgrading to a Dana 60HP but I'm pretty proud of my little overbuilt front axle, it was created and built by my Long Island Auto Shop Teacher friend and person who got me into Offroad, he's a Junkyard Wizard!
did that sticker that is dtarting 2 come off say ' u support overhead valves ' ???? 8) !!! ur a a wild n crazy guy mater n cew but we sure respect ur biz !!!!!!!!!! love the cam wrk too.
My brother and I were headed out in a rented rubicon as you guys were nearing the lot. I said hi but for some reason you guys didn’t stop to chat. : ) We experienced the Gemini bridges with those adventure vans.
🎼You picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel... 🎵
Aaaaahahahaha.......I havent heard that one in a wheel....I mean while
to funny.
...with four hundred children and a cop in the field!
In my dirt bike days....."40 loose spokes and axle of steel".......
😂🤣😂
Superb handling of the camera again by Mike, amazing angles... And he does all this work while a flock of diamond billed rock peckers might lurk just around the corner!!!
They went exstincted
LOL Diamond Billed Rocker Pecker 😁 That decal you sent me gets a lot off attention on my CJ7, Thanks again!

Rory is probably from the same alien planet as Mater.
@@TassyDeval he's also, apparently, about 6'6" and built like a Sherman tank!!
My 31.5" tyres are heavy enough, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to lift a 35"!

Because that's when real trucks were made. Plus there's alot of modifications lol but his driving skills are definitely part of it too
There's not much original left ... BUT .. Rory is an exceptional driver!

Mother nature sure makes the mountains take on a form of beauty. You make recovery look so easy when it is really hard. Thanks for sharing.
This is the best scenery in the World. I gotta get out there.
I like the sound of your wrecker. It’s sounds healthy and strong.
Always entertaining. Best recovery channel on TH-cam and the only one to acknowledge the 'Diamond Billed Rockpecker' :)
Great job Rory and Mike good camera work on Mike's part keep up the great videos keep up the great stuff stay safe and have fun from your big fan down in Papakura New Zealand big Matt
Mike, I really enjoyed your choice of shots, thanks for filming.
Yet again , the King of Moab uses his Monster of Moab TrailMater to haul the off the trash.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride Rory and Mike.
Nice recovery. Thanks to your award winning camera man and comedian! Thanks
Wow! There's lots of future work lined up at 7:20!
Excellent viewing material, as always. Thank you for providing me the opportunity to come along for the ride. I appreciate you guys
Took me three times to finally watch it all uninterrupted, but it is always worth the time. 👋👍

what a great recovery! Thank for all the awesome filming Mike!
3:35 Nice "Chung 🎶" when the tension was released from the drive line.
7:18 Wow, that is quiet the convoy of vans there.
Always a joy to see you boys hard at work retreiveing toys on the trails
Those dang diamond billed rock peckers were wanting everyone to know where there territory is Mike! That's why they carved that rock out like that!
That's awesome!
Thanks for the nature tour...Great recovery and film work.
Another Awsome video!! Thanks an stay warm an safe Godbless all.!!
Thanks Mike, Thanks Rory, 👍
Oh look! 8 more overlander victims just waiting for Rory to recover, yeah! Mike sure likes riding in the rumble seat.
Found the channel a month or so ago and binge watched to catch up. Love the great attitudes, equipment and recoveries and the scenery is EXCELLENT! Thanks for the great entertainment!
It's a very good channel for sure. They are very good at what they do and that's a understatement.
Nice to see an off road recovery, not a rubber rope commercial 👍🏻
those rock formations are simply awsome good job filming mike also you guys make it look easy if i ever brake down in moab i know who im calling sean lol
Gotta love those National Geographic views you provide us, along with the entertainment.

Put it in all the neutrals. We don't want the front axle turning. Axle spins the entire way out.
Love it!

Thanks from England.

Nice recovery boys!
I hit like every time nowadays.
Great Content Rory...\ooo/
Nice video!! Good job getting it out of those tricky trails too!! Nice job on the camera Mike!!
Great video as usual! Keep them rolling in!
Rory , you should just do a Jeep exchange like the hardware store exchanges full propane tanks for empty one for a charge ! lol

Nice job with the 5 mph tape on the brakes.
Keep the fixes coming!
When you passed the van caravan did you side them up for another recovery?
I get entertained every day you post can’t wait for the next one. Learn something new every day. Thank you, Roy.
Great job and I learned something about those axles. Thanks guys.
Rory, how about a "follow me" type of drone to get some overhead footage. Spectacular I am thinking.

Thank you guys for filming even on the weekend! Because I’m sitting here on my lunch break (on a Thursday) being entertained by you guys.

That was a nice 9er ZJ.
Great job,
Man I've never clicked this fast on a video before, fresh off the shop!
Great recovery now you gotta go and fix it
Each recovery has a lesson built into it.
Love seeing a 5.9 Grand built and out on the trail
A 360° camera on the tip of the boom of the wrecker would be a really cool point of view to have! Or maybe on a long pole on the vehicle being towed?
