Just an fyi, you can pop the blade off wjth a screwdriver, has saved my hands a bit that. Love the straight cut though. Just got it myself.

Have you tried any other brand of dispenser? If so any views? 3m one seems expensive over here and you have to jump through hoops to get blades, ladder hook etc. I'm interested in any comparisons.

No I haven't tried another brand , I've seen them and they looked very cheaply made compared to the 3m

Up to 12” I don’t feel the need for that but maybe for longer roll thank for the great videos you do there really helpful

Yeah its called a straight cut blade , you have to import it from America it seems like the country that sells it. I brought my first just over a couple of years now.

You should add the set of tadpole tape cutters to your masking kit. Absolutely brilliant clip round your roll of masking tape and cut the length perfectly straight great for masking up glass and anything running off right angles. Set of 3 available from mypaintbrush.com for 11 quid
