This show was taped at CJOH TV in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This is the same place where "You Can't Do That On Television" (the show that launched Nickelodeon and gave it its green slime) was taped. I visited those studios, just a few years before they were completely destroyed by a fire.
Actually, since this was taped in 1976, it was taped at the studios of CFTO-TV in Toronto, Ontario (where the later episodes of The Amazing Kreskin were taped, from 1975 to 1977).
Something really telling here. When Kreskin asked the pertinent question of how many people would actually want to know their future as opposed to finding a person who could reassure and focus them instead, he made an extremely valid point. Troubled people seek out fortune tellers as a way of wanting to find out when and how their current troubles will be ending. Judy Carne was working hard to make her way in a difficult industry and drug use became a trap and a undeniable setback for her. She should have sought alimony in her divorce from Burt Reynolds although there might have been something being kept secret as the price of not asking for it. Or she just made another mistake among many we all make as we move through time. I really like her as an actress and as a person and wish her all the happiness she can find as she lives out her life back in England.
Did you mean to say Judy was the "Laugh-IN" girl? Because to specify, Judy was the "sock-it-to-me" girl on 'Laugh-In"; Goldie Hawn was the "laughing" girl on the same show..
The late Jody Carne Ex wife of Burt Reynolds, i find it strange kreskin never asked any questions about her life with Burt Reynolds may be she already told the producers before hand no questions about Burt..this seems very likely. i think her hair style suits her far better short than long
She's so rite the British people are better with comedy than the Americans by a long ways America should learn from them I love British comedy so much better than America & I'm an American.
These are marvelous time capsules. Incredible. Thanks for gifting these to us.

Kreskin had a weekly TV show that ran several years, not an easy feat considering how TV eats up material.

Fortune tellers, psychics, and astrologers are no substitute for purpose, dedication, and focus.

+Michael Shaver I'm sure Kreskin said, at 7:41, "... the Laugh-In girl herself, Miss Judy Carne".

wow what year is this?
What show and what year? The show title must have been trimmed off this video. The closing credits say "A Glen Warren Production for the CTV Television Network ©1976". It must be "The New Kreskin Show 1976-1977" (IMDB).
@@quaztron The opening credit states "The Kreskin show". I remember the show from so long ago. Definitely from the seventies.
He sure asks a lot of hit and miss questions for a bullshit psychic.

Judy looks so wonderful...VERY DEEP SIGH :)
Kreskin might've been a mind-reader, but he had the charisma of a plywood slab.
The only thing amazing about Kreskin is how he was able to parlay cheap mail order mentalism tricks into a modicum of fame and fortune.
He was a marvelous performer. He had much more than a modicum of success.
