Wenger continued: “He is a very calm player who analyses the game well. I don’t really want to say exactly what I talked to Martin about.
“I am super impressed. He really is a down-to-earth and nice boy. The way he analyses the game. He also did that as a 15-year-old… the sharpness!
Wenger also admitted that he was “worried” about the midfielder during his time at Real Madrid. “I was worried about Martin,” Wenger continued. “I think he lost a bit of his creative attitude. Creativity stagnated.
“After he came to Arsenal, he found his creativity back.
“He plays amazingly well and masters everything in the game. He is complete. I like him in every way in the game. Defensive and offensive.”

Based on your comment here seems a clown said something about Odegaard goal. Yeah, completely intentional. Which is why he did that celebration, the same celebration Zinchenko did at City when he scored a scooping dipping shot. Odegaard definitely practiced it and prepared to do that celebration ahead.

People compare him to Ozil but I think he is more like Modric.. Picks passes,shoots,defends. He controls the ball and resets.
He is less flashy passer than Ozil but work harder. He also have pass first mentality like Ozil. Modric still tend to shoot when he can. He just played too deep to get that chance to shoot.
@@rockzs74r Ozil was more of an oldschool 10. Odegaard is an 8 with the freedom to roam like Modric.
Modric plays in central midfield, oddgard in attacking position.

I don't think comparisons of Odegaard to Ozil or Fabregas are accurate, for me Cazorla is closest to what Odegaard reminds me of, if you take the whole package into account.
Madrid should have kept him and made him their RW of the future.
Odegaard is basically Ozil but has a much better attitude and work rate. Simple as that. Ozil could have been incredible but his attitude sucked.
