  • Katyń for Polish people is a symbol of Soviet Crimes during WWII. Over 20,000 Polish prisoners were murdered. Until 1990 the official version repeated in whole Soviet block was a lie. Now we know the truth but still, there are unknown names from the Belarusian list.
To find more about that history I recommend visiting Katyń Museum in Warsaw www.muzeumkatyn...

So so sad😥 hope those souls are resting in peace. History is so beautiful yet so brutal. Thank so much for sharing ❤

So sad, and the most import would be if we can learn anything from the history.

3:13 CORRECT the MISTAKE - April 1933 ! - It was announced to the public on the 11 April 1943! and not April 1933 (in subtitles also SPOKEN; THIRTY THREE instead of FORTY three)

Thanks for the video. I was unaware that there was a Katyn Museum. The Poles had the misfortune of being situated between Germany and the Soviet Union. Their suffering didn't end with WW2 because again due to their location, their country was behind the Iron Curtain.

That's true. Polish history is hard. It is good to remember history but also learn from it to make better future.

Много фальшивок для музея. Нужно тщательнее готовить экспозицию.

Wow an actual museum dedicated to Europeans who died in WW2, how refreshing

Forgetting about the history makes very easy to repeat it (and unfortunately it is still happening).
But this place is also to give an honor to people who were murdered and than forgotten. Why to do it now... because before, it was not possible. Poland was part of eastern block not by it's own decision.
