The inside of the building with lovely tiles reminds me of mosques and palace in Istanbul. Leni, you will love it there. Go see the Blue Mosque . The underground water cistern where the Matrix was filmed.

Leni, in Mexico we were taught that “alcazar” and “castillo” were each variations of “palace”. “Alcazar” was closely tied to the Moorish influences, but frequently was thus named to indicate a fortress of some sort, whereas “castillo” was used to indicate home of some level of royalty.

It is beautiful there. I can not go that high to look around I’m so afraid of heights. I have never been to Spain but maybe someday before I die I can go. My mother is from Madrid. I can not thank you enough for taking us on your trip with you. It was so so beautiful. That is what are weather is like every summer here in the part of California that I live in, it’s so hot.
