I did a greenish light blue as the base and then the dark blue and black. Could you do it with just a dark blue to black gradient? Using just 2 colors instead of 3?

Alucard Peach I used to have trouble too. But I watched a TH-cam tutorial where the girl wetted the sponge with water, and it made a world of difference. Just be sure u squeeze the excess water out lol
Ooh I think I like this one better than the red one....I can never get a good gradient with a sponge idk if I'm doing it wrong or what but I feel like it's a lot easier for me to use a fan brush. Idk it going just be me lol
Have you ever mixed nail polishes together to make your own colors? I saw the nail polish making kit but I was wondering if you tried mixing with your favorite polishes. I'm on the hunt for the perfect light yellow for spring time and I have a bright yellow and white but haven't tried mixing them yet.

I haven’t tried many drugstore brands to be honest, I used to love Sinful Colors but I haven’t used it in a while, I’ll have to give them another try!

Hi honey, yet another great gradient, this is what I was attempting to create for my halloween nail art, but I failed miserably, but now I want to start practising for my christmas nail art, so could you please recommend 3 colours that would go from green to red, so the red is on the tip of my nails please. I've tried light green, dark green & red, but it didn't look great, then I tried green pink & red & that looked worse, so your suggestions would help greatly. +Angela Read hey Angela, unfortunately those colors are opposites on the color wheel so it’s really hard to blend them together seamlessly. The only option I can think of is using gold as a transition between the two but I don’t think it will look great. I would definitely stick to colors that are close to each other on the color wheel/rainbow!
Hey Kelli, i got a question.. I have a lot of trouble when I clean the edges of my nails, I don't really have a steady hand to do it ( I can fix that with practice of course) but I was just thinking maybe it's cause Ive been using nail polish remover? Is the pure acetone better for the job?
I trying to do gradient and ombre l got cosmetic sponges it's not coming out it's not smooth it's leaving unslightly holes what to do is all cosmetics are the same meaning quality of sponges I have sponges has holes in sponges.
Tyra Dawkins I only do 1-2 nails and reapply. If not wet enough it will make a big mess, especially when it isn’t the first coat. I like using cheaper polishes so I don’t feel like I’m wasting.

Random Trend18 - the sponge leaves bits on your nails because it's getting too dry. Just add more polish to your sponge
