Space 220 looked incredible! Looks like such a special way to finish a park day! 🪐I watch the same TH-cam Disney crowd and I’m so happy for you meeting Mr Morrow, he seems so lovely bless him x
Someone who gets it. 🙌 I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd absolutely fan girl over Brad Pit or someone but these Disney vloggers are just so inspiring and great you can't not ask for a photo! 💕
Oh don’t! The guilt was full on there when we got back to the room. BUT, we were on our honeymoon, we knew we wanted to do these meals. Don’t get me wrong though, it was a big treat! 🙈
When I go on longer trips I love doing split stays. It gives me an opportunity to stay at more than one resort and make use of different amenities at each one. Before becoming a DVC member I would stay 7-10 days at a value or moderate resort and 2-4 days at a deluxe. It was a lot easier on my wallet than doing 10-14 days all deluxe. Disney will also transfer your luggage from one hotel to another so it’s something you don’t have to worry about if you stay at more than one resort on your trip.
I completely agree! 🙌 I definitely think this is what we will plan to do going forward as well. I really loved Pop Century, it really did the job and love the Skyliner aspect but The Beach Club just allowed us to chill and take the remainder of our time as it came as we had 2 parks on our door step. Would LOVE to be a DVC member but I just don't think we'd find it finanacially beneficial. It's not a firm no but not on the cards just yet... 👀
I'm sure you've both looked into this being disney fanatics, but have you looked into Disney vacation club? I haven't done it myself however, i went with my friends who have a DVC membership and they love it ❤
Ahh, I would absolutely LOVE to be a DVC holder but we just wouldn't come to Disney enough to benefit from it. We could rent the points out but I feel that defeats the whole vibe. The DVC rooms are incredible, especially Boulder Ridge at Wilderness Lodge - I'd love to stay they around the Christmas period. So jelly you have a friend that's a DVC member! 👀✨
I can really recommend staying at The Boardwalk. As you say in this episode, you aren’t 20 something anymore, Boardwalk is perfect for that reason. It’s not over the top Disney, it’s nice quiet. Transport options are fantastic - Boat to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, (or even walking to those parks) Buses to everywhere, the Skyliner is at the International Gateway (a 10 minute walk). You can even walk through Epcot and get the monorail to Magic Kingdom, especially now the park reservation system is coming to an end. There are plenty of shops and fantastic restaurants. Trattoria al Forno is very good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Flying Fish is a fantastic premium dining experience. Abracadabar is a great place to go for cocktails. The Boardwalk Deli is great for subs and pastries. You also have the Swan and Dolphin and Yacht & BeachClub resorts all within walking distance. There are plenty of things happening on the Boardwalk, performers every evening which are great to watch. I am really enjoying your honeymoon series, especially your honesty on pretty much everything, it is a refreshing change from other vlogs I have watched.
First of all, I want to say thank you for putting time aside to recommend everything that you did. I completely agree because towards the end of our trip we moved our Animal Kingdom Lodge stay to Beach Club and SO happy we did. We are now obsessssssed with The Boardwalk, the atmosphere, the convenience, the transport, I mean you listed it all! Still want to give the restaurants a go as we didn't have the time but we did try go to the ice cream shop and that was elite. Again, can't thank you enough for such a lovely comment. I am really taking pride in these vlogs and this series. ✨
