Yeah not to mention one of the whole points of sprinting is how far you can get on the power of your leg muscles, and he didn't have to rely on them fully since the blades added distance.

I was honestly watching clips right up until about 3 days before he died. Then when I saw news of his passing on the 'I'm Not Norm' channel, I tried to avoid the videos as a way of disavowing the possibility that he had passed. I was trying to backflip over the matrix. I did the same when Sean Connery passed last year. Tried to avoid the news into non-existence.

I dont beleive he should be racing against people who are using nothing but their own natural legs. He is being assisted by technology. Period. We could make him faster or slower by making his prosthetic legs denser or stiffer or more flexible or less flexible or etc. Bottom line is that an athletic competition is a sport putting one human body against one or more other human bodies to see who wins. His natural human form couldn't get milk from the fridge in a timely manner, let alone win a race. Once you start talking about augmented human beings...whats stopping people from chopping their legs off intentionally so they can get some nice blades to get an edge on the competition, like the video game Dues Ex: Human Revolution
