    "The things we can't see is closer to reality than the things we can see." This idea was also expressed by Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:18: "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

    Without knowing this rabbi nor any video about Judaism, about 2-3 years ago I though every single thing that this rabbi is saying and everything led me to Judaism. Now I am converting.
    Sometimes you need to wrestle with your thoughts which elevates you from a level to another; like from Jakob to Israel.

My impression is you’ve got an axe to grind, and on a smear campaign, and you’re kind of a kooky Pentecostal. Seems you’ve got to lay off the Fruit Loops, find your gourd and get back in it.

    God reveals his nature to us by giving us intelligence to know who he is not. People believed in the moon, thunder and planets as god. Then God gives us ability to visit the moon and planets to discover he is neither of those. This is the marvel and greatness of the Creator. There is no ending to his existence. Rabino friedman about religion few years ago I became to the idea that there were no reazon to believe in anything but I still have faith and I do not know why, human being does not know the beginnig of the universe and were it is has finished yet it is a mistery but there must be a energy behind all this. I like your videos very much you are so brilliant that to me this is something really significant to have found thank you very much hello from mexico

    19:26 A reasonable hang up on wanting to see things, is seeing provides us with sensory data that we can use to make repeatable informed decisions. Imagination of the unseen allows us to think anything, and anything is inconsistent and impossible to communicate. eg I feel warm versus I feel 150 degrees C etc.
    Seeing things in this context is verifiable sensory data. That includes feeling a wall in front of you, but not seeing it.
    Intelligence includes abstract thinking, and also object and experiential thinking. That's nothing wrong with using the word faith, when that's what you mean.

    Asking for the great questions, without religion getting involved (in your case, until something better comes along, Rabbinic/Judaism "hardcore" related thinking), it is picking up the pearls hidden into a teaching (Judaism) that we as Christians should acknowledge, without getting into the "deep" of it. :) (my two cents for the good).

    Q: Are there things you should not question?
    A: Once you get into personal stuff ... Like what G-d wants, Why G-d wants ... You don't question that.
    And you don't do that to your spouse either.
    Once you know that something is important you don't question it.
    Why is it important? ... What makes it so important?
    That's nasty.
    ________________
    ... I'd like a video expanding on the above.
    I think it would be a good talk. (the spouse part of that statement could make a whole talk on that subject, I think. Maybe illuminting both G-d and your spouse in relation to that topic).

    • @JCJohnsong
      @JCJohnsong ปีที่แล้ว
