These 3 streams have been fascinating to watch. So many ideas and suggestions to try. Thanks to you Rob for taking so much time to share your insights and knowledge
1:09:42 ah you just answered my question about being able to see an image. I've been noticing tractor wheel lines in crops everywhere since that first stream!
Great thank you. Just caught up on 2 live streams & ddp4. Dipped in and out of pdf Book. Now time to stop watching and get on with it before i forget again. All great tutorials.
When doing healing work, as you do on the first image of a building it is very helpful to be aware that the order of doing healing and masking in Lightroom matters significantly, as has been demonstrated recently on Anthony Morganti TH-cam channel in the video ‘Why you must do healing before masking in Lightroom’. As he shows, it is much better to do healing before masking than the other way around.
Hi Rob, I’m Fabrizio from Italy. Regarding C1, I’d like to say that WB works well but for the swapping channel I edit with Affintiy Photo and then go back to C1. At least, this is my humble opinion but it might be useful.
No, the 590 nm will allow too much orange and red visible light to pass and not much IR. You will end up with an orange/red image. With an unconverted camera, you need to use a filter with a 720 nm or higher cut off.
Thanks again Rob! Really appreciate it, super interesting.
Hi Rob watching from Dorset UK. Love your videos, thanks.

It's funny; just talking about it a few times in the steams has caused me to be more conscious about it when shooting. 🤓

Thanks for the Live Stream. I am new to IR. I am using a Hoya R72. I do not have a converted camera. Can I use a 590 filter on an unconverted camera?
