Does this game have a lack of combo variety? I really want it, but i see the same 2 combos for each character. I try to look up videos, but I just see different variations the same combo done over amd over again in combo videos. Either way game looks really good to me, but i think this series and these graphics with a mortal kombat type combat system with some different mechanics like the pose/taunts and stands would have been amazing.
Well, it's not that, but each character have a easy square combo they can wipe out at any time. And since this is just an obscure PS3 game with no ports and horrible online, i guess no one got motivated to support the game more The only real braindead character is part 1 Dio i think, his half-circle combo is his BnB and he pretty much only have that in his arsenal, along with just some command grab
Old comment, but you should check out JoJo: HFTF. It’s a pretty old fighting game based of part 3 only. But it has a good online, there are also weekly tournaments, so the community is pretty active.
I just realized, Pucci can move in time stop. Let me explain, D I O's stand gave birth to the green baby (C-Moon) as it had a Joestar brand on it. Now Pucci has the Joestar brand but since The World was reborn from creating C-Moon that means it could move through time "so, it's the same type of stand as Star Platinum. Long ass range and fast punches but with different abilities." Hell I'd be surprised that Pucci figures that out and says, "C-Moon, The World!" And just stopped time and went along doing his business.
Seeing back at this video and seeing now the current Pucchi we have in ASBR... Yeah, they nerfed him HARD. Now MiH isn't even worth it, as C-MOON (and even Whitesnake) already can carry a whole match with the counter and super armor (or the "It's mine!" or the classic Air Heavy Attack + "Pierced through the finger" + "You shall be crucified!" combo, in case of Whitesnake) moves lmao

He can pause the move and when he says the phrases again he won't have to start from the beginning afterwards.
