Just watched it again and enjoyed it just as much, beautiful movie. Rachel is always great in anything but had forgotten what a beautiful, emotional actor Eric Bana is. Thankyou
To think, the author wanted Johnny Depp to portray Henry. That would have been a totally different film and most definitely not as magical. Bana looks the way I read Henry in the novel. Dark hair, dark eyes, Slovic looking, handsome. Bana made Henry come to life. He gave Henry warmth and made your heart ache because of his situation. Rachel though, grasped the emotions and characteristics of Clare, but didn't look like the character read, but her acting and the feeling between her and Eric made it work and made it beautiful. This may be my favorite film, ever. Definitely, my favorite book.
